“stay away - in house restaurant to HI property”
1 of 5 bubbles Reviewed December 13, 2011

would you spend 7 bucks on half an apple and half an orange and call that a fruit plate?
How about 12 bucks for pancakes made from krustez pancake mix.

Overpriced by far.

Go elsewhere where the restaurant is full- that is a goood clue the place is known by the locals as a good value, service, and taste.

“...it was great to have a quality sports restaurant right next door!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 9, 2011

My wife and I were staying at the Holiday Inn next door. We love pro football and Sunday our very helpful waitress Madison fixed us up with a great table, the Saints to our left, the Texans to our right, and drinks in the middle! I had a veggie pizza that was much better than the one I had at the overrated Eric's in Breckenridge the night before. We had a delicious breakfast the next morning but the waitress then was a little "distracted"...? The decor is very seventies-retro but tasteful and clean. Considering how few options there are in Frisco/Dillon, it was great to have a quality sports restaurant right next door!

“great service, beautiful restaurant”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 6, 2011

I came with some friends on saturday evening and had a great time. the specials on beer and food were very good and it was nice to finally see a sports bar in frisco with multiple flatscreens. there was a good variety of beer on draft and the menu had many options. we really enjoyed the 1/2 price appetizers. The staff was very sociable and made my first experience very memorable. Id highly recommend this establishment to not only the patrons of the hotel, but to the summit county locals. See you next saturday!

“Fun place to get a drink and good food”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 14, 2011

The Sporting News Grill had a great selection of beer on tap and great bloody marys too! The food is excellent especially during happy hour when there is a 2 for 1 appetizer deal. The staff was very friendly and seemed to genuinely like their job. It was a great experience and as a local I will definitely be back soon!
