“Nice stop during casual biking with kids”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 25, 2013

This is a nice stop for a brew while on a casual ride. We rented from Pioneer sports, took the shuttle to vail pass and essentially coasted back down to Frisco. We did not want to take the additional time and effort to go all the way to Breck. The food was average as was the service.

“Excellent”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 19, 2013

They have great happy hour specials of half off beer and appetizers. This is not a place to go to if you are in a rush but if you have time to relax and enjoy the mountains.

“Expected better”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 10, 2013 via mobile

I was expecting better flavored food the beer was good, had a raspberry kind. The service was nice but when we got the bill it seemed there was extras added here and there with $1.00 add ons. Afterwards we felt a little sick to our stomachs.

“The meals, service, and management are great.”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 3, 2013

Back Country Brewery is a destination for us during ski season or summer; in many respects, Back Country Brewery is much more user friendly than Breckenridge Brewery.

We are here for the Porter; Porter is a challenge for the microbrewery, and we have been visiting Back Country Brewery for years.

The meals, service, and management are great.

We like the outdoor tables and Mountain Views!

A+

“Poor Service; mediocre food”
2 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 23, 2013

The best part of this visit was sitting outside on balcony. We waited a long time for everything including drinks on a non-crowded Monday. The appetizer arrived with the meal. My friend's beer took 30 minutes to arrive, but he said it was good. The table next to us ordered a beer and it took them 20 minutes to come back and tell them they were out of that particular style (one of their house brews!). You can do a lot better.
