Owner description: The Frisco Adventure Park is minutes from Frisco's charming Main Street, and in the winter, hosts a lift assisted tubing hill and a beginner ski/ride hill, as well as over 45k of cross-country ski/snowshoe trails and horse drawn sleigh ride dinners. The beginner ski/ride hill located adjacent to the tubing hill offers lessons taught by Copper Mountain instructors in the most laid back and easy going environment possible- a friendly surface lift to get you up the hill, a cozy lodge, free parking right next to the hill and instructors who will help you graduate to the "big mountain" at Copper. But remember- you can tackle this hill without instructors if you choose, and it is perfect for kids and adults alike. The Adventure Park sits on the beautiful Frisco Peninsula and is surrounded by Dillon Reservoir affording unforgettable water and mountain views in every direction. And in the summer, the Frisco Adventure Park boasts great free amenities including miles of mountain biking/hiking/running trails, a bike park, a skate park and a disc golf course. Camping is also available on National Forest Service land on the Peninsula. The Adventure Park Day Lodge offers free bathrooms and a comfortable base camp for activities year-round and hosts special and private events including weddings, family reunions, bike/running races and birthdays.

Since we live in hawaii, our kids had never seen snow so tubing was a big adventure. The Adventure Park was easy to find in the very quaint town of Frisco. Friendly staff, not crowded. The magic carpet to get to the top of the hill was very easy to use and the tubing was fast enough and so much fun. Easy for ALL ages!

We made a reservation before stopping in (which I recommend) and the check in process upon arrival went smoothly. After paying and signing the waiver, you watch a short animated safety video. Then it's off to the tubing hill, where you ride a "magic carpet" up to the top of the hill while carrying your tube with you. There are about 6 different tubing lanes you can choose from and all of them were quite fun and fast. We signed up for one hour of tubing which my family thought was plenty of time. The maximum amount of time I would recommend is 2 hours but once again we thought an hour was enough. By the way, there is a small ski hill here but it looked kind of lame to me. The tubing seems to be the main attraction.

We bought 4 1-hour tubing tickets. The staff on top of and at the bottom of the runs were very hard-working and seemed to enjoy their jobs. I watched one young man assist children getting on the magic carpet ride many times. He was very nice and offered assistance to anyone who looked like they might need it. The lines at the top of the hill moved steadily.
2 of the slopes were a little slushy so not as fast but the two tallest were great if you could survive the staff's spin to get you down the hill. It was great fun!

The Adventure Park has an almost unlimited amount of Winter sport fun! Surface lift sweeps you to the top of the hill where you can have one of the super friendly staff spin you on your way down the banked wall tubing run. Tubing not your thing? How about one of the most scenic nordic trails for your skiing pleasure? Great heated lodges dot the property and they even have Zorbz balls for you to try. Overall a great day of fun for young and old alike.

My friends and I recently went tubing at Frisco Adventure Park. It was $25 for 1 hour. While its fun and a bit of a thrill, its really overpriced in my opinion. I would not return.
