Actually this is a great small restaurant with personal attention. The menu has unique combinations with the chef and his wife showing great care. The only downside is that the menu is a bit over-priced

Food, loved the food. Order at register, pick a table, sit and your food comes to you style of dining. Location & profile just o.k. . Having eaten there several times over the years the price has now exceeded the dining experience. We have thought of eating there many times this season but have stopped because of the higher prices.

We had a reservation but still waited about 30 minutes to be seated and no hostess greets you at the door, you have to flag them down to let them know you have a reservation, even after being seated the service was very slow and the staff is not attentive at all. Atmosphere resembles a cafeteria. We had beef barley and also tomato soup for starters- both very bland. The sea scallops and shrimp were well prepared and visually appealing, the duck was dry and flavorless. Banana bread desert was very average, For the price and based on the reviews I expected something much better. It wasn't terrible but I would not go there again as there are much better places to eat in frisco.

My wife & I checked several reviews of Frisco restaurants before we set sail for Copper Mt and this strip mall restaurant looked worth a try. We were very glad we stopped in for lunch on our 1st day. It is small but not cramped, a cozy place for lunch or dinner. We visited their website and saw how they make their Rueben sandwich, and how huge it was, so we opted to split a Rueben and bowl of fresh Chicken & Vegetable Soup. The soup was fabulous, homemade style with lots of chicken breast chunks and big chunky veggies in a tasty broth. The Rueben, WOW! This is what all Ruebens should be judged by. HUGE! Probably 1.5 - 2 inches of the leanest, tastiest corned beef brisket you have ever tasted, with their own house made sauerkraut and swiss cheese all on fresh, house baked organic marble rye. (Seinfeld would fight for this rye!) This was served with delicious taro root chips and a very crunchy dill spear. We were stuffed! Service was very friendly and prompt. Their dinner menu looked equally good with a fine wine list as well. I wish we could have gotten back for another visit, it just didn't work out. BUT, we will visit again whenever in the area.

Food Hedz is hidden dining experience in Frisco. Well known by all of the locals and it is located in the strip mall near Safeway. The chef/owner was the former Executive Chef at Keystone. His wife is the hostess/waitress. I am surprised by some of the other reviews as every time we have dinner at Food Hedz, the meal is absolutely supurb and worth the $30 price range. We are repeat Food Hedz customers and plan to continue to do so. Our local friends frequent Food Hedz bi-weekly for lunch. The resturant is small with limited decor as the focus is the food and service. It is not a chain and not targeted at all of the tourists that go to Breckenridge. If you "get" Frisco, you will "get" what Food Hedz is all about.
