I came here for no other reason than it was cheap and I was passing through. Why would you want to stay? Denver sprawls inexorably outwards and it shows in the soulless neighbourhoods that appear to have no heart or purpose other than to be and to serve. The receptionist was bored (with life?) but managed my checking in efficiently.
The room was four walls of sterile functionality that wouldn't have looked out of place in a newly built prison or student digs. I asked if there was a fridge and was told sometimes guests leave them behind! Really? A fridge? Maybe she misunderstood my posh English accent.
Disturbingly, the rear door, which was just down the stairs from my room, couldn't be closed properly. Anyone could have come into the building day or night. That seriously needs fixing especially as the motel shares a parking lot with the Burger King and people are coming and going frequently.
No plug in bathroom basin, bath needed unblocking, otherwise clean. I wouldn't recommend not staying here. It's ok. Just don't expect anything very homely.More
