We stayed here for the state swim meet in March. It was conveniently located close to both the EPIC center and downtown Fort Collins. It was clean, comfortable and had a good breakfast, although the hours were 6-9, and sometimes we like to sleep a little late. However, the earlier start is great for people who have to get to early activities, like swim meets! A little noise comes through from other rooms, as our was attached by a door. However, it was a great price (online purchase for that.)

An older hotel/motel that's been upgraded to BW standards. Nice size room with vaulted ceiling, very comfy bed, good flat-screen TV, very nice tiled bath (though quite small with limited sink area).
The smoking rooms are in a separate one-story building adjacent to the rest of the hotel. Outdoor entry through a french-style door. Heat-AC unit did he job but a little tricky to regulate. The windows open which was nice.
My single gripe would be that at BW's everywhere, a King Room has a comfortable oversize chair to lounge in, and this one did not, so I used the desk chair which just wasn't comfy.
Off a major road/highway but no noise as it's set back far enough. Easy in and out, good parking, good prices, pleasant personnel and staff.
Breakfast was good, not great. Ham, pre-formed (round) egg thing, pastries, cereal, etc. Decent coffee in the lobby, poor in the rooms.
I might try another place next time just to be closer to downtown, but for the money this is fine.

This hotel is one of the nicest out there in this price range. The lobby is beautiful, the hallways are nice, and the amenities are nice. The room has nice furnishings.

However, the hot tub closes too early, IF it is even open. I have stayed there 4 times in the last month, and two of the four times, the hot tub was closed due to maintenance. That is frustrating when one works very hard all day long, to the point of being physically in pain, but there is always that thought of the rewarding hot tub soak at the end of the day. Then to arrive and learn that it is closed.....its a little aggravating.

The only other complaint I have is that for me personally, the bed are way too soft. They actually sag under my weight, and I am a normal sized woman.

Other than those two things, I love this hotel. The staff is friendly and professional, and they meet my requests promptly. It is beautiful and clean, the breakfast is good (but not stellar). The linens are a nice quality, and I enjoy this place enough that I will return (as long as I call ahead regarding the hot tub).

We stayed at the Best Western Kiva Inn in Fort Collins while passing through on our way home from Denver. Our room was very large with a very comfortable King bed, wonderful lighting plus a microwave and fridge. Breakfast was great with fresh pastries, waffles, fruit, eggs and ham along with the usual trio of juices and hot beverages. You do need to drive about two miles off the Interstate to get to the hotel, but once there is very convenient to restaurants, gas stations and shopping. The entire staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful in getting us oriented to Fort Collins.

Room Tip: Since we are senior citizens we did ask for a ground floor room. We were right off the parking lot...

The lodging was attractive, the room was comfortable, they were happy to accommodate my dogs, they seemed genuinely concerned for my comfort, and the location was convenient to the square where I was meeting friends I was visiting.

Room Tip: First floor is best if you have pets with you.
