Sadly, many of these are dissapearing but Holiday is still hanging in there. They have good prices and two screens to see movies.

“A terrific family tradition”
Reviewed May 30, 2012 via mobile

For several summers now, our little family has made a tradition out of the drive-in theatre. I don't know of any others still in existence anywhere near Fort Collins. They will typically have a new combination of movies on each screen weekly, all of which are current new releases. I sometimes have wondered about the order they play in as they have occasionally played the more kid-friendly flick after the less kid-friendly, when our kiddo is ready to conk out. But, more often, the order makes perfect sense. The prices can't be beat in comparing what it would cost us to see just one of the movies at a traditional theatre in the evening. Obviously, it's a drive-in and you aren't going to get the premium viewing or listening experience, but that's not really what it's about. However, the owners have made plans to upgrade to digital projectors for the summer of 2013. As far as most of the speakers being gone, the sound is broadcasted on the radio and if you have car battery issues and don't want to use your car radio, we have found it is just as well to bring a little battery operated stereo to listen from. We bring our own snacks typically, but I have noted that the snack bar is cheaper than the traditional theatre snack bar. They even welcome well mannered dogs, and greet ours with biscuits.

“Drive in with friendly people!”
Reviewed May 22, 2012

These owners are great and very friendly, so they get a 5. To be honest though, it's a drive-in theater, so unless it is horrific, my rating is a 4 minimum!

“What a treasure”
Reviewed May 18, 2012

What a gem, what a treasure. The Holiday Twin Drive In is a priceless, precious piece of living history in Fort Collins. Perfect for people of all ages, the drive in is a wonderful way to enjoy seeing the newest most popular blockbusters while simultaneously enjoying the wonderful Fort Collins summer weather. Prices are extremely affordable, and the employees are helpful and friendly.

Movies are the same at any indoor theatre, but its truly a unique and wonderful experience to visit the Holiday Twin Drive In, one of the last few in Colorado. For the price of admission you get a double feature, and for not much more, food that you won't find at regular movie theaters, such as ice cream and hamburgers.

If you pass through Fort Collins any time late April to October and don't catch a movie at the drive in, you will have missed out on an essential part of Fort Collins and Colorado. Don't miss out! Head to the Holiday Twin T\today!
