We stop at Avo's on a regular basis because of the steady care Rob (the owner, not this author) takes to make sure the place is ready for us customers. They make their own tempeh, of which I had the BBQ variety last evening, while Anne had the marinara fried tofu. Now don't let this fool you into thinking that it is strictly vegetarian at Avo's because it is not. This Rob eschews red meats and therefore Avo's meets his needs, while carnivores can get their fix, too. We enjoyed O'Dells brews on tap with our meals as a Country Rock band played in the next room with the door open between the two. Sweet!
