“Hilton Honor's Points Here”

Good, hot coffee. The quiche was amazing. The only problem we have is that there isn't enough seating. We either have to stand up and wait or leave to go to another place. Friendly staff.

“Discover it!”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed March 8, 2013

Truman's is kind of tucked away and could be easy to overlook, but try not to overlook it because it's a great little coffeehouse! The staff is always genuinely friendly, they have a huge selection of drinks, a surprising selection of food, and the interior is very comfortable, but not grungy (you know how some coffeehouses can be grungy?). They get their tea from Happy Lucky Teahouse, which means that they have outstanding teas. Try the matcha green tea latte - it is delicious and very different.

It's a friendly clean spot with excellent coffee and pastries. The small quiche were amazing. Can walk from the Hilton in about ten seconds

“Outstanding service”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed May 30, 2012

In a city known for craft beer, we sure are picking up the pace on craft coffee. There is such an abundance of coffee houses in this city that I’m beginning to wonder how we’re comparing to the Pacific Northwest. We have very unique coffee houses that fit every type of style and personality. There are coffee carts for people on the go; coffee houses that roast their own beans; coffee houses with an edge on craft education; coffee houses with onsite gardens for fresh ingredients; coffee houses that bake organic treats; coffee houses with book stores; coffee houses with beer bars; coffee houses that are open 24 hours a day – the list is endless. What’s great is that each place has found a niche to showcase their individuality.

Truman’s Coffeehouse is one of the newer shops to open in Fort Collins over the last six months. They replaced Moxie Java on east Harmony on August 12, 2011 and experienced such rapid success that they opened a second location within Raintree Athletic Club a mere three months later on November 7th.

With coffeehouses growing as as fast as craft coffee here in Fort Collins, it’s smart for coffeehouses to focus on what makes them unique. After all, for most people – coffee is coffee. While the coffee and the food at Truman’s don’t particularly stand out for me with distinct or unusual flavors – they are nice, predictable, and mild – it’s really the personal experience and service from the people that made me notice them above all else. If outstanding service in a laid-back atmosphere is your quest, Truman’s Coffeehouse is your place.
