My wife and I had dinner on our first visit to Rodizio Grill, a Brazilian steakhouse. The many choices of meats are the main attraction. A large salad bar with plenty of veggies, fruits and soups completes the meat selections. After ordering wine, our server brought three bowls of tasty, warm appetizers. After having some of the appetizers, we served ourselves at the long salad bar, which offered more than enough for a full meal. Then the first of many gauchos (waiters) came to our table with a skewer packed with a cut of grilled beef. Every few minutes, a different cut of beef, pork, chicken, some fish or glazed pineapple came to the table. For each selection you wish to try, the waiter slices a section from his skewer. You can soon have a large spread of meats on your plate. The extensive variety at the salad bar and from the skewers makes it hard to leave here hungry. Our choices were generally quite good. We decided to share a slice of key lime pie for dessert. This was as good as any key lime pie we’ve ever enjoyed. The restaurant was busy and lively, and this fit in with the active parade of gauchos beating food on skewers.

Came for a buddies birthday. Having had a Brazilian steakhouse experience a few weeks back I was curious to compare the two. The wait staff at Rodizio was fantastic. The manager helped out and the waitress was always running to take care of us. The meat service was very good and the presentation of the salad bar was good. The overall quality of the meat was less than the other restaurant and the side dishes seemed to be mass produced with the extra attention to detail lacking.

All in all this was a good place to dine but I would pick the other “brand” over this one. Come hungry and with plenty of time…

I have been to a few different rodizio style restaurants now and this one by far had the best overall execution of the dining concept. Many of the places fail, usually because they do not put enough emphasis on the salad bar and get carried away with an endless meat smorgasbord. This place has a good balance of all aspects and delicious

Here's where we celebrate birthdays, anniversaries, etc. My husband is a carnivore and Rodizio is meat nirvana. I love their meats too, but there are lots of lovely non-meat appetizers brought to your table. The salad bar can't really be called that; plenty of non-salad stuff there, including some of the best collard greens around - not overcooked or stewed. There's a good wine list and some different cocktails; the caipirinhas are wonderful. The gauchos who bring the grilled meats to your table are friendly and knowledgeable about what's cookin', the wait staff and managers are attentive and the atmosphere is somehow both lively and elegant.

My favorites are the tri-tip, the pot roast and the grilled vegetables. There are always nightly specials: wild game, bacon overload, etc. Sometimes there are amateur guest chefs from around town who donate to charities for the chance to grill with the pros.

I can't forget to mention the dessert tray. It's almost impossible to pass up despite the amount of food one can consume at dinner. The Brazilian desserts are great: chocolate dulce de leche, more or less, with many embellishments. Great flan and creme brûlée.

As I said: my favorite place!
