The sliders were terrific, as was the bacon wrapped pretzel. Great beer, so so wine. We look forward to our next visit.

“Bar food at premium prices”
2 of 5 bubbles Reviewed November 24, 2012

Based on a recommendation we ate lunch at this brew pub restaurant. Our party of three ordered a lobster BLT, the shrimp po-boy, and their buffalo cheese steak. We also shared an asian lettuce wrap appetizer. Service was prompt and the food came out quickly. The lettuce wrap was the only item that stood out. It had nicely seasoned pork with fresh vegetables and was definitely worth the $6 price. My shrimp po-boy sandwich lived up to its name, literally, with some kind of shrimp mcnugget bread balls substituting for the real thing -- in a word, awful. The lobster BLT did have real lobster meat, but the sandwich was drowned in a bland white sauce. Buffalo must be an endangered species, this sandwich had minimal amounts of meat and cheese. The sides of onion straws (actually rings) and sweet potato tots were uniformly cold and greasy. With two beers and an iced tea, our tab came to $62. No extra charge for the hours of indigestion that followed.

“Brewery with cutesy beer names but decent restaurant”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed November 22, 2012

I am not a huge fan of Fort Collins Brewery's beers. I'll take guests down the street, either way to Odells or Funkwerks before going here. But my man and I decided to try the restaurant last night because Odells was packed and only had a food truck out in parking lot there. We felt like eating inside somewhere because it was getting cold. It wasn't crowded, but we think it should be. The food was unexpectedly really good. Upscale, trendy pub food. A lot of the menu items with made with beer, which is always a plus in my book. Grits, beer bree

“Much nicer than a beer pub”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed November 14, 2012

We have now dined at Gravity 1020 3 times and have been very impressed 3 times. It has risen to the top of our "places to take out-of-town guests". The dining room is modern, comfortable, and bright. The beer is world class in both selection and quality. The menu is a bit on the modern-experimental side and is always memorable- mostly for the flavor and presentation, once in a while for some weirdness.

“huge progress”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 29, 2012

In my last review I praised the food and panned the service.

On 10/27 we had lunch there with our 2 grandchildren and they had the whole act together. The kids ordered off the kids menu, the table shared some onion strings, and grandma and I shared a Huevos Rancheros.

The waitress cheerfully brought us and extra plate. The HR were well prepared and presented. More than enough for us seniors.

Our grandchildren now are conflicted over their favorite restaurant when they visit from Denver. "The brewery place" or the Charcoal Broiler. Hmmm guess we will be eating out for both lunch and dinner!

the only knock on tjhe place is that the unique setting...high ceilings, no noticeable noise abatement, makes for difficult conversation in the inside portion of the restaurant. Next time, if the weather is too cold for outside seating, we we search out and request a more secluded corner or booth.
