Description: Austin's American Grill is the quintessential taste of Colorado. With two great Fort Collin's locations-one in the heart of Old Town and another on Harmony Road, we'll have you wondering why mom's food never tasted so good and when you can come back for more. Savory roasts and chicken cooked over an open flame in our front-of-the-house rotisserie. All-natural buffalo seasoned to perfection. Cornbread baked in iron skillets and drizzled with honey and butter. Signature cocktails sweetened with fresh-squeezed fruit juice. Plus, our decadent desserts are made fresh daily, giving you an excuse to stop in for a slice that reminds you of home. So grab a friend and make plans to meet at the red umbrellas. There's a reason Austin's is one of Northern Colorado's favorite destinations.

We have eaten here three times, indoors twice and once outside. Atmosphere is really nice inside and pretty good outside. Food is good, as is the service. My only complaint is with the value. Entrees are priced a little high and happy hour drink prices are not especially outstanding. We received no bread of any kind. Want a salad? That's extra. I could really go for this place if they would provide the extras that other restaurants include with their entrees.

We enjoy New Year's Eve dinner each year here. As before my wife ordered the halibut. We didn't specify that she didn't want it overdone. How do you instruct a chef how to cook fish? She doesn't want NYC rare that smells like it is half raw, but not midwest style. I suspect most Coloradoans want their halibut totally opaque-turns into archery target-so they 'know what they know' .Oh well, just stay away from the fish-$28. not cheap.. Myleg of lamb was delicious-actually on the rare side, which is a bit odd, since the chef likes to cook food thoroughly. Salads were fine, vegetables nice-lots of fattening sauce, but that is typical restaurants.
we will return--stick to the chicken or buffalo meat loaf--well done also, but more acceptable. nice ambiance, nice service. popular place---but if you want fish in Fort Collins--go to "Fish Restaurant" where they specialize in that item.

Came in for a business lunch a few days ago. They have a pretty decent selection to choose from and the burger was great! Can't wait to come back next time I'm in CO.

Very comfortable atmosphere, very professional server, and nice menu! We had a party of 4, and 3 had buffalo (meat loaf and burger). They said it was delish. I had the sirloin and Idaho, and asked to substitute a veggie for tater - no problem. My steak was a little overcooked but had good flavor. The veggie medley (sugar snap peas, red bell pepper, and butternut squash) was fabulous! Thought the prices were quite reasonable, too.
