“Fantastic Stay at a Fantastic Rate!”
Reviewed December 13, 2010

Spent one night at the Cambria Suites in Fort Collins while waiting for the moving truck to arrive at our new house. The hotel is on Harmony Road, which is one of the main drags in Fort Collins, and minutes from the I-25 exit.

The hotel is clean from lobby to rooms. The one bedroom suite we booked for the very low price of $99 was quite modern in nature with a long living room and bedroom separated by a tasteful partition. Both rooms had flat screen televisions and were directly connected to the stylish bathroom.

The hotel is right across the street from the Front Range Village, an outdoor mall with many shops and restaurants. It's also a short drive from many other restaurants as well as Colorado State University.

Thanks to the other positive reviews here on TripAdvisor, my husband and I stayed at Cambria Suites in Fort Collins. It was only for one night and we wish it could have been longer! The rooms are lovely--well appointed and comfortable. The bathroom has a large shower/tub and other elegant features. Bed is super comfortable with lots of pillows! The only downside is that the "suite" is all one room, so even though there is a divider giving a pleasant look and feeling of the bed being "separate" from the sitting area, the two TVs really don't make much sense as two people can't watch separately at the same time with sound on. This was not a problem for us as we watched the same program, but it could be frustrating for some guests. Also, the divider is a lovely open bookcase with pretty vases--again, very aesthetically pleasing, but not always functional as the light from my husband's lap top was clearly visible to me while he was working at the desk in the front "room" when I went to bed. Also, the pool is small so this might be an issue if you plan to swim laps or have a large family. However, these are small concerns when a room is this nice and the price is just right! Breakfast was not complimentary and rather than pay the $8.00+ each for the downstairs buffet, we went to the nice Panera Bread across the street--much cheaper! It takes about fifteen-twenty minutes to drive to Old Town Fort Collins from Cambria Suites, but was worth it to us as we had such a pretty setting (nice residential buildings and some pleasant shops and restaurants nearby) and it was very quiet. Overall, a great stay!

We stayed a night on our tour through the northwest of the US.
This is a nice kind of designer hotel with modern and covenient suites.
The frontdesk was attentive and friendly. After entering my suite, I was called again just to ask if everything is OK with the suite.
Just do not really expect a restaurant. Just snacks. But there is a nice steak restaurant just around the corner.

What a refreshing stop after a long day driving. When road construction put us behind our scheduled itinerary, we checked TripAdvisor on the IPhone, read the the Cambria's great reviews and called ahead for a midnight arrival. We were given a rate under $100 (90$) for a King room with a pull out sofa bed. The very pretty contemporary decor included a sofa bed area where our teen girl had her own flat screen tv. A pretty divider separated our VERY comfortable king bed and well-appointed room from her space, and included our own big flat screen TV. Everything was immaculate. This hotel exemplifies management excellence. The manager is highly visible and friendly and the atmosphere reflects his attention. Employees were congenial, the breakfast was very good and fresh, and we had a nice Cappucino in the very spacious and comfortable lobby. We had valuable bicycles with us, which they locked up in a private space. Very good experience.

Of all the 9 hotels/places we stayed this summer, this hotel took the sweepstakes! It is small, but tucked back from the busy street. The room assigned to us looked like a mini-Museum of Modern Art. It was artfully decorated in black, tan and red as an accent. It has modern pottery incorporated into the divider between the bedroom and living room. Although the bedroom section was a bit small, the living room was very generous and inviting of entertaining. It had a very large screen TV on the wall, and there was also one in the bedroom. It was the best hotel room I have seen, especially when it came to interior design. The staff was extremely accommodating and supplied us with another chair, as well as two extra luggage racks. And that is not all! Downstairs, in the "lobby," you will find a large welcoming living room with plush chairs and computer stations, also a bar, and a restaurant which I noticed they were serving their evening meal out on the patio. The food was not as fresh as it could be a few times when we ate there, and the pool was very small (can't do any laps in it if that is what you are after). One last word on this hotel: after we got back home, I discovered an important roll of film was missing and called the hotel. They were understanding and graciously made two trips up to our room and found the film, called us back, and are sending it to us. We plan on staying here again and again!

My bf was there on business for a week and I just flew in for the weekend, but it was a very nice experience. His ultra-modern suite had floor to ceiling windows which were very nice. All the amenities you could ask for.
