I booked this location for two weeks. Our party consisting of 3 adults and 3 children slept comfortably within.
The sleeping arrangements offers two bedrooms on the ground floor, a sleep sofa on the 2nd floor in the main living quarters, and another sleep sofa in the loft on the 3rd floor next to the master bedroom suite. The owner keeps ample bedding supplies; pillows, sheets, blankets which should accommodate all.
Bathrooms exist on all three levels and some supplied with the basics. The kitchen is on the 2nd floor and was impressively stocked with utensils, cookware, dishes, etc.
Off from the 2nd floor is a covered deck which has an assortment of furniture as well as a gas grill. The deck goes the full length of the house and can be used for outside dining in the warmer months.
There is a single television on the 2nd floor in the main living quarters. I was surprised a second television didnt exist in the master bedroom. Satelite internet with a wireless router for connectivity is also available.
The house itself is located on a road appropriately named Ridge Rd. The driveway is rather steep and thankfully there is a parking area after the first 15 feet up the drive way. Our two-wheel drive Suburban made it up to this lower parking area; we didnt dare drive up the rest of the way to the house. Near the lower parking area is a small clearing which during the summer appears to be a fire pit area with some rustic seating - would be nice to enjoy this during the warmer months.
20-25 minute drive over Hoosier pass to Breck. Copper Mountain is certainly within driving distance as well as Vail.
I would certainly recommend this place to others and would book it again.
