Dine next to the Creek with friends! Delicious food, wonderful sound of the creek nearby! Our waitress was lovely and very attentive; Thank you Tateana! Great new addition to Evergreen's downtown. The desserts are very good!

This Evergreen restaurant along Bear Creek is the sister restaurant of The Prague Cafe in Morrison. Both serve great German /Czech food. This sister restaurant serves a more limited menu in a more casual atmosphere than its bigger sister, but the prices are also lower, without sacrificing quality or service. I had the pepper steak and it was perfectly cooked as was the spaetzle and the fresh veggies. My German heritage spouse had the Qtr duck and was only disappointed because he was hoping this sister restaurant had the pork shank on the menu. He enjoyed the duck, The bar area is small (6 seats), but accommodating and the creek side seating is quite enjoyable. We will go back. We will also return the the Prague Cafe in Morrison. Great food!

Wow! What can we say. We had a perfect meal, perfect hostess, perfect waiter. The food was memorable to say the least. The hostess so attentive and friendly. I joked they made their bathroom too nice to leave, I think she hears that frequently! The interior is amazing in this historic building. The furniture hand made for the restaurant and intriguing. The hostess even told us about the implements hanging on the wall and ceiling. The waiter was so attentive to our needs and met all our requirements. A real experience to end the evening. Lovely. Will definitely go back.

The food is European standard cafe fare with great service, charm and good ambiance. The chefs are Czech and the menu is middle European with Germanic tendencies, e.g. Spatzle, red sauerkraut, potato salad, sausage plate...all done with authenticity. We are Swiss and felt quite at home. The wait staff were very pleasant and professional.

We have been to Café Prague in Morrison several times and decide to give Prague a try (same owners). Overall we were impressed with the food, as it was very good, and we sat outside on a beautiful night by the creek.

We had the special salad and it was outstanding, enough to be shared. We ordered the Escargots and got 5 snails. Also very good. We ordered the Chicken Schnitzel and the Wiener Schnitzel. The Chicken Schnitzel was very good, however the Wiener Schnitzel was pounded too thin, and had more of a bread taste than veal. The Wiener Schnitzel was just average.

While service was good (not great) there were only two waitresses and one bartender on a busy Friday night. There is always a Help Wanted sign out front.

If you've been to the Café Prague in Morrison keep in mind this place has a very scaled down menu (Evergreen's menu has 9 entrees, Morrison has 25). Many of their popular dishes are missing. There is no Hungarian goulash, no Stroganoff. The entrees in Morrison are served with choice of soup or salad, not in Evergreen, just the entrée and pre-selected sides. There are many less appetizer and dessert choices too. Missing at the end of the meal was the shot of apple schnapps, which I always enjoyed at Café Prague.

The web page for Prague is really just a link to Café Prague and only lists the Café Prague menu. After being open over 6 months, you would think they would update the website to include the Prague menu, Also they do not accept reservations in Evergreen.

While I've been a little critical, and I was a little disappointed at the lack of menu items, sitting by the creek was great and overall the food was very good. I'd definitely come back, but I might also choose to drive down to Morrison for more of a choice.
