On a lovely summer day in June, this restaurant was the perfect place to celebrate a birthday on the outdoor patio. From the patio, you could watch the sailboats on the lake and the paddle boarders, all while enjoying some made-from-scratch delights. Our waitress was very friendly, informing us that this was a family-owned establishment with a chef-owner making all of their breads, cheeses, sausages and other dishes. I had the tasty grilled chicken sandwich with thick slices of well-done bacon, cheese, greens, basil aioli and a chewy grilled bread. The side salad with balsamic dressing came with it, but I could have chosen fries as an alternative. We also had the vanilla bean creme brûlée that was accompanied by a dollop of whipped cream, some chocolate and strawberry sauce and some nut brittle that had a hint of cayenne pepper in it. It was wonderful. Our waitress even put a candle in it when she learned of the birthday. Our water glasses were constantly replenished and service was prompt. I plan to return.
