“Soup from a stone, fancy that.”
Reviewed December 28, 2010

I eat at Da KInd regularly. THe couple that runs it are exactly what you want in a chef owned business. Notice that it is CHEF owned first, and it shows. There are @ 10 hot fresh fragrant, soups, stews, chilis each day to taste and try. Many soups are available in boil-in bags, perfect for camping, or just heating up at home.
They are members of the community and contribute and give back to their customers as well. I have never known a chef's name at a lunch spot, but learned Dustin's in just a few visits. He or his wife and staff are quick to help you pick the right soup for lunch (tastes)
This is the best place for lunch in Evergreen.

“Homemade soups and sandwiches you will crave!!!!! LOVELY people!!”
Reviewed March 13, 2010

This is a unique very special restaurant, the owner Dustin, a chef for over 20 years, makes incredible soups from scratch, every day a different selection from about 10 different soups. You can have something rich, vegetarian, vegan, or old fashioned chicken noodle or tomato, but homemade and divine! All the soups are marked. You can even taste each soup before you choose. I love to taste Dustin's original creations, and his lobster bisque is SO good. Best Reuben you will have in your life, other great sandwiches too. LOVELY service!! They even sell their soups in boilnbags to take home for fridge or freezer, so you can stock up if not Evergreen a lot. Salads in summer.
