“A surprise discovery!”
Reviewed October 8, 2012

My girlfriend is a private pilot and she suggested we try Perfect Landing at Centennial Airport.

We arrived at about 8:15 PM on a Sunday night (when they close at 9:00 PM) and were promptly seated with a wonderful view of the runway.

We both ordered our meals which were preceded by some wonderful, warm, fresh bread served with a delicious herb butter.

When the meals arrived they were, in a word, excellent. Her flatiron steak and shrimp was just right and very tasty (though the shrimp were whole and their digestive tracts needed to be excised by the diner) and my Steak burger was absolutely incredible - like a fine steak served on a bun.

The dessert menu also provided the tasty Heath Bar Cheesecake, which was delicious if a rather small in size compared to what you would get for the same price someplace like Cheesecake Factory.

All in all, a very good meal at an eminently reasonable price - less than you would pay at most chain restaurants and certainly of higher quality with better atmosphere.

Perfect Landing is truly a good find with a wonderful atmosphere.

“Not "Perfect"”
Reviewed October 7, 2012 via mobile

I went to the Perfect Landing for the cheap entree specials (only valid Monday to Thursday). For $10, my sirloin steak was decent, not terribly flavorful but not bad. My husband got the prime rib and it was a bit bland. Both cuts of meat were a pretty tough. Still, pretty good value for the money. Wine list is terrible except for the $50 bottle of Silver Oak. Otherwise it's $22 for an $8 bottle of wine with not much selection and few wines by the glass. Our server was fine, but the hostess did not want to seat us until 5:00 on the dot (when they open for dinner) even though three other tables had already been seated. The atmosphere was ok, but the crowd was a bit older and the decor dated. Overall, it's an ok spot, especially for out-of-town guests Monday to Thursday. Otherwise, overpriced on weekends.

Dined at the Perfect Landing at Centennial Airport. Well prepared meal - top sirloin and lobster tail. Excellent, friendly service. Restaurant overlooks runway; great views and ambiance. Monday through Thursday $10.00 - $17.00 dinner specials.

“What a Discovery...”
Reviewed September 26, 2012

Found the place by chance and what a discovery, great Mon to Thurs specials... steak , seafood, around 10 bucks and up for real quality, missed the happy hour but wine is $4 a glass, service is really friendly, food quality is great and for 2 nights got treated to the pianist knocking out some old standards, and people were singing along, all in all great...

“Has everything-price, quality, atmosphere, location.”
Reviewed September 5, 2012

The restaurant is located at Centennial airport and most tables give you a great view of planes taking off and landing. The Monday through Thursday specials are very well priced at $10-$16 and include excellent prime rib, steak and salmon. The regular menu is diverse and also well priced. The herb butter they serve with the wonderful hot bread is a treat. We are especially pleased with the wine selections which are often priced much lower than other restaurants. Be sure to make reservations, although we have lucked out and were able to get a table without reservations. The piano player is an added bonus, but it can get a little noisy if you get a table that is too near. I have eaten here many times and have never been disappointed with the food. I would recommend it for special occasions, business or dinner with friends nd family.
