Great food but a little pricy. Large selection almost to large, had a hard time deciding what to have. Service was excellent.

This restaurant is a bit off the beaten path, but well worth finding. The chef understands gluten free needs, and can adopt almost every dish to accommodate Celiac needs. I was happy eating his GF Pad Thai for several visits, and then decided to ask for the moon. He delivered a GF Sesame Chicken that would bring tears of joy to your eyes! We have taken many friends, our best friends, to this restaurant, and everyone raves about the food and service, gluten free or not. Highly, highly recommended.

Purple Ginger truly is a great place for an Asian meal. It's in a huge building right by Maggianos and the parking lot is always empty, which baffles me because the food, service and prices are fab.
I have been here a few times and love the calamari. Generous portions and great texture. They've got a nice happy hour that I believe goes until 7. The staff are also great and very amicable. I've had different people every time and cannot fault any of them.
They have brown rice options and loads of vegetarian options, too.
Give it a try next time you're in the area and not in the mood for Italian.

Tucked east of I-25 between Arapahoe and Dry Creek, across from Maggiano's is a gem of a restaurant. Nicely appointed decor, friendly and efficient service, and good grub abound here. Tonight, as it was Father's Day, we brought our junior reviewers for some critical opinions.

Overall, the food is meticulously prepared and presented. The spicy edamames were very good and would be even better had they come hotter(temperature). The sushi was fresh, beautifully arranged on geometric platters, and the rolls were tight! These babies do not fall apart! Bravo. Try the Golden Gate roll, the closest thing to Hapa's Orgasm roll but less expensive. Love that spicy Japanese aioli. More traditional offerings including some uniquely good Wonton soup and crispy sesame chicken were excellent. We finished off our stimulated taste buds with a melt in your mouth fried banana dessert. I'm not a banana guy but it was quite good.

This chef knows how to cook and our server "The Captain" knew how to please, even the kids. They could use a few more folks in the dining room, at least the night we were there. Don't let Purple Ginger II lay idle while more mediocre restaurants get your biz. You will, like us, be pleasantly surprised about your dining experience. P.S. The bathroom was meticuously clean, modern, and beautifully decorated.

Had dinner there on a Friday night. It is a large restaurant which was half-full at 7 PM on a Friday night. The menu is large and appealing and the service is very good. The food is good to mediocre. Two in our group oredered sushi which was pretty good but not as good as at other local sushi places like John Holly. We ordered all three of the bun offerings. We liked the fried sesame buns the best. The shrimp buns were ok but the pork buns were not as good. The Volcano fried rice was good and so was the spicy edamame. Prices are very reasonable.
