“Staff was exceptional”
Reviewed April 7, 2014

Our robotics team stayed at this hotel for three nights this past weekend. The staff went out of their way to accommodate every request we made. They were the friendliest staff we have ever encountered. They were genuinely interested in what our students were doing and how their competition was going. Jeremy even brought his children to see the competition.

Our team enjoyed the kickback for dinner on Wednesday and Thursday evening. Breakfast was out and ready for us on our early mornings. Between our high school students and adults, there were over 30 of us and everyone was well-fed each day.

Our bus driver needed an exceptionally late check-out on Saturday to give him time to sleep before driving us home through the night. They provided this with no extra charge.

Friday, we arrived after kickback had ended and we ordered pizza for our team. They provided us with a space to feed the students and have a quiet meeting to prepare for the next day's competition.

Our team always seeks out Drury's because of their exceptional service, but this one was by far the best one that we have stayed in.

It's hard to be a step above other Drury's since they're all so good, but this one did. The difference is the staff. This was the most friendly staff I've ever encountered.Everything else was just as expected. I can't recommend Drury Inns strongly enough especially The Drury Tech Center.

Room Tip: Stay in a Drury ANY time it's an option.

We stayed at this hotel for two nights on a weekend getaway trip with our daughters. The check-in process was easy and the staff were very pleasant. The continental breakfast and afternoon "kickback" food were plenty and good. The had a slight difference in options for food both days we were there which was another pleasant surprise. We did not use the housekeeping and just opted to clean up the room ourselves, but the housekeeping staff were friendly every time we walked by them in the halls. I liked the shampoo/conditioner/body wash dispensers in the shower, they were much better then having waste the tiny bottles offered at other hotels.
The highlight of our stay, and the reason we have decided that this is the hotel we will stay at on all our future stays in the Denver area, was the General Manager Jeremy Goodman. My husband, our three daughters and I were taking advantage of the kickback meal, the first evening of our stay. Mr. Goodman came over and introduced himself, asked about the temperature and taste of the food and made general conversation. He was very friendly and sat for a few moments to share information about things to do with the family while in Denver. He informed us of the weather for the following day and made conversation about our 1 year old daughter and even showed us a picture of his beautiful baby boy. He was even there bright and early the next morning when I went down for coffee and was there with a great attitude and a full jug of coffee creamer. Overall, it was a very enjoyable experience.

We recently stayed at the Drury Inn during the 2013 Christmas holiday season. The entire staff from the housekeeping crew, the reception desk, the dining staff to the managers were friendly, efficient, helpful and went out of their way to make us feel comfortable and welcome. The complimentary breakfast was excellent with a variety of hot and cold items to please every guest's preference. The free 5:30 "kick-back" refreshments were enjoyed by us many evenings when we did not want to have to eat out. One morning when my husband was feeling ill and wanted to rest all day in the room, he asked if the room could be cleaned while we were eating breakfast in the dining area. The housecleaning staff immediately were cleaning the room so he could rest right after breakfast, and then even asked how he was feeling the next day. The rooms and rest of the hotel were always clean. By the time we checked out after a 12-day stay, we felt like part of the hotel family. Special kudos to Jeremy, general manager, for making us feel so welcome. We would definitely stay here again.

Room Tip: We preferrred a room on a lower floor. In the summer, a room on the east side might be cooler so it...

What a great bargain! I stayed at this hotel October 6-11, 2013 and had a wonderful time. I had a two-room suite, and was amazed by the size--both rooms were extremely large. It was also spotless and modern. The bed was great and had a ton of pillows. The pool was clean and is half indoor and half outdoor, with the wall between extending a little way into the water to separate the two sections. Swim under the wall and you're outside. Breakfast was excellent and the 5:30 p.m. Kickback was amazing. It will easily save you quite a bit of money. The meals also include free beer, wine or mixed drinks. But the best part about my stay was the staff. Every person we encountered greeted us in a friendly manner and took every opportunity to be helpful. When my wife forgot the key to the lock on her suitcase, a front desk person was able to cut through it quickly and easily. I was also impressed when he joked afterward, "I feel like I've done something wrong!" It was my first stay at a Drury Inn, I'll look for them the next time I travel.

The Drury Inn is a great hotel if you are looking for something affordable that also has great value. The staff is always friendly, the hotel is always clean, and there are good amenities. The indoor/outdoor pool is perfect for Denver's weather, and they also have a hot tub. The free breakfast and free afternoon snacks and drinks add value that other hotels in the area can't match. It is also our favorite hotel to stay in with our dog.
