Delightful little place! Rooms are comfy good size, very clean, friendly & accommodating staff. The lobby is "Rocky Mountain Lodge” decor with a big warm fireplace in the winter & leather furniture to snuggle into to, to read a paper & just relax. Fresh popcorn & cookies are available at night too.
It has a little cafe area for complementary self serve coffee, tea & breakfast goodies in the am. The views of the mountains are unbelievable. Close to a large grocery store, a local yummy diner & many other great local restaurants. It is a charming little town & Inn without the sticker shock of Vail. I've stayed there at least three times over the past couple of years & haven't been disappointed yet.
It is well worth the few extra bucks to fly into Eagle vs. Denver too. A great little airport although closed this summer (2009) so they can extend the runway to accommodate more flights, it is so much easier & quicker if you are planning on staying in the Vail Valley area. AmericInn will pick you up & drop you off at the airport if you are staying with them.More
