We came to Durango during a very busy weekend and the staff was prompt, polite and efficient. There was a bicycle event and they had a box of rags by the front desk for cyclists to use to clean their bikes. Room was clean, spacious and comfortable. Breakfast selection was above average. Only issue was guests departing early in the morning who shouted in the parking lot outside, but that's not really the fault of the hotel. This hotel is on the very north end of Durango so you'll need a car to get to anywhere else, but it's not that far out of the way and the town is small enough that it's just a short drive from anywhere.

Hotel is out of the main business area and requires transportation back to main area. Though the hotel was fine it was remote to activities such as the narrow gauge railroad to Silverton. The breakfast was as expected and area walking distance to a nearby restaurant was a couple blocks.

I enjoyed this hotel, we stayed just overnight then left early in the morning to drive to visit Mesa Verde. The air conditioning was whisper quiet, the bed was delightfully comfortable, the shower/bathroom amenities were fine and pretty standard. I particularly appreciate that the sink is outside of the bathroom, so I can continue to use the sink when my husband is in the shower/toilet room. This was a quiet place for good sleep. The breakfast was pretty standard, and the coffee was good. I would stay here again if I come back to the area!

Stayed here the night of 5/9. The room and bathroom were of adequate size with granite countertop, a power flush toilet and nightlight. The furnishings were contemporary. While the AC was very quiet the room was poorly insulated and you could here a lot of noise in the hallway and next door. The King bed was very comfortable. The buffet breakfast was adequate with nice seating areas that had granite counter tops. Complimentary hot and cold drinks were available day and night and cookies were available at night.

This hotel is quiet, clean, and staff is very helpful. The room was comfortable in every way. Breakfast was delicious with many selections. The location was on the way to Silverton. We try to always select hotels that do not allow pets (only service animals).
