The Strater Hotel is a vintage hotel with 19th century charm. The rooms are beautifully appointed with turn of the 20th century furniture, walls papered with lovely prints and classic designs. The staff is friendly and very helpful, the restaurant superior, the Diamond Belle Saloon a real hoot. We had a thoroughly wonderful weekend, the best fun in years. It didn't hurt that the hotel is in the heart of Durango either.
