“Is it a Bakery or Cafe?”
Reviewed August 29, 2013 via mobile

We were told this place has great breakfast. When we got there it appeared to be a bakery. We had breakfast and thought it was average. The green chili was bland, unlike Colorado. The eggs were rubbery and the bacon was chewy. I thought the coffee would be great being a bakery mostly. The coffee had no distinction.

Now for the bakery..this is what you need to come for anytime of day. The donuts were fresh and the pastries were flaky. Dough Works is in the name, expect a great bakery, but no more.

“Lotta Dough for a little”
Reviewed August 10, 2013

The apple fritters were bigger than my stomach (which is saying a lot), the coffee was the best in town and everything else I saw looked so good I wanted to buy more. My son got two doughnuts even though he could only eat one and even after nibbling on the other throughout the day, we still tossed half of the second. They were that appetizing and delivered with deliciousness.

Did I say try the coffee? The bold brew is the best in town. Hands Down!

“Breakfast for the Road”

The food was okay. They serve a lot of food for a reasonable price. The doughnuts are pretty good. The atmosphere is a little crowded and loud.

“Great choice for a healthy alternative”
Reviewed July 14, 2013

We have eaten here previously and had a good meal. Good service and healthy choices are available. Sometimes we need to take advantage of places that offer alternatives to the burger/fries routine, although that offer that too. Fresh fruit along with a chicken caesar wrap was excellent.

“Fun find for breakfast”
Reviewed July 9, 2013

Stumbled upon this place while looking for a breakfast spot. Ate here twice while on vaca. Once dine in and once to go. Dine in – service was good taking our order and delivering our food. Was a bit slow on bringing the check. To go – service was quick taking order and having food ready. As for the food - Dine in - Had a bagel sandwich (bacon egg & cheese) which came with cheese dripping out the sides – soooo good and so big I couldn’t eat it all. Husband had biscuits & gravy, said it was ok. We split a bagel sandwich for the to go meal.

Staff was friendly & we liked the outside dining option. Would definitely eat here again. They have plenty of food choices to satisfy your breakfast cravings.
