Lots of flavor and spice here. It feels like a typical Tex-Mex restaurant, but the prices are a couple of dollars more than you might expect to pay at similar Tex-Mex restaurants. Perhaps this is because this is in fact a New Mexican food restaurant? (Eg soda $3, $8 queso, $6.50 kids meal, $13.50 fajita salad). However the food is very tasty, and the $8.50 lunch special is a very good value considering the food quality. Lots of cumin and chiles are used here. The cumin vinaigrette salad dressing was very tasty and was a combination of flavors that I had never tried before. An additional nice plus is that in addition to chips and salsa, sopapillas are also included with each meal.
They're also known for their margaritas, but we didn't try them.
