One of our tour guides recommended the Ore House as a good place for dinner and claimed they had the "best steak in town". However, our experience was very lack-luster. We arrived at the later end of the dinner crowd, so the place was pretty empty by the time we were settled in, yet it took a good 40 minutes for the food to reach our table. We heard good things about the salad bar, but I'm pretty sure my college cafeteria had a better selection, which isn't saying much. All of our steaks were cooked well and the quality of the meat was actually very good (and they do have some local, naturally-raised selections, which I liked), but there was just no seasoning whatsoever. I had a phenomenal steak the next night at Ken and Sue's down the street, and it was much cheaper than what we paid for our mediocre meals here.
