We enjoyed the Ore House on Saturday, March 23rd, 2013 - upon entering we noticed the blackboard with the evenings special - locally grown, of course. We always arrive about when they open and even though the hostess was seating some other group, the lady behind the bar was quick to acknowledge us! We were then seated and the hostess and waitress were very attentive (as usual) - I will admit usually order the petite filet mignon (p.s. it is so tender and cooked just perfectly), but this time I tried the Wild Alaskan King Salmon (p.s. I lived in Alaska so I know salmon – and this was just delicious). Let me tell you, from steak to seafood - their food (and service) cannot be beat! Thank you for the continual GREAT SERVICE AND FOOD! We will continue to return to the Ore House Restaurant in Durango, CO.
