Yes, this place is neither fancy nor well lit; however, the salad was crisp, the Flat Iron steak scrumptious! We thought quality might be lacking since the Flat Iron was the cheapest steak option. It was melt in the mouth, slap yo' mama good. Cooked to medium rare perfection, served in its own juice and a solid 10 ounces. It was excellent even for this visiting Texan. Overpricedany ? Perhaps so but has anyone considered how far our dollar value has fallen, $4/gallon transport and increased food costs and wages? Notice how many restaurants in Durango are closed. Ore House has a first class Flat Iron, expect to pay a First Class price for it, buckaroos! Highly
