A number of the locals said that they loved Ken & Sue's. After eating there I would agree. We stopped by without a reservation and sat in the enclosed, heated patio. It was a nice experience however the heat was not even. I would recommend calling for reservations if you are planning a visit in February. If you are unable to sit inside, I would still go but dress in layers and warm socks.

We have been here for wine and bread but never got around to eating a meal. We have now had lunch twice and it was even better the second time. The lunch menu is quite varied from small plates, entrees, gourmet sandwiches and sides, soups and salads. My date had the ahi tuna on focacia bread with an asian inspired aoli and oriental slaw and salad. He ordered the tuna rare. It came out with a nice sear and totally rare on the inside. Perfect! I had the carrot wasabi soup and house salad. What a nice bowl of soup. The bread that came out first was a nice addition to the meal. Save some room for desert. We had the creme brulee. Really excellent, served in a large martini glass with fresh strawberry slices. Coffee went nicely with it. We totally enjoyed ourselves with peach mango ice tea, 1 local draft beer, 2 entrees, 2 coffees with cream and the desert all for $38 including tax (tip was additional) Service was excellent. Now that's the way to dine in Durango!

We come to Ken & Sue's often and have a wonderful experience every single time! The food is some of the best in town, and that's saying a lot, and the service/value is unparallel! We typically ask for Jenna as our server but everyone who's ever served us has done a great job as well!

After hearing rave reviews about Ken and Sue's for quite some time, my husband and I finally had dinner there last Saturday evening. 1/26/13. It lived up to it's reputation and will be our "go to" restaurant of choice in Durango. Everything from the hostess to the atmosphere was excellent. The food was exceptional. I am already looking forward to our next opportunity to dine at Ken and Sue's.....maybe this weekend! :)

We always think we should try a different restaurant on our trips to Durango but with appaling regularity we gravitate back to Ken & Sue's. We ate in the outdoor tent recently and it was warm and cozy inside. Our waiter, whose name i can't remember but i think it started with a D, was friendly and attentive but not overbearing. the food is consistently good and you can find a nice $7 glass of wine to accompany your meal. If they offered a $5.50 "house wine" that would probably be good enough for us. The salads are huge so we just split one so we can save room for desert. bon appétit.
