“Wonderful Exhibit & Fabulous Curators!”
Reviewed May 26, 2013

The wild life exhibit is amazing & feeding the fish in the "raceways" was exiting but the best part was meeting & talking to Tom and Clark. They were so interesting not only about the museum, but gave us helpful information about the town and area. We left there feeling like we made new friends!

“The kids loved it”
Reviewed March 13, 2013

This isn't a bad place to kill and hour or 2. We stopped here last summer so the kids could stretch their legs, see all the fish and the loved it, especially since you can feed them (for a few dollars). There were plenty of rainbow trout. The "museum" is an older building with some stuffed animals from the area in it. You can walk through it in 10 minutes or so, even if you stop and read some of the information on each animal. This isn't a 'must do' in Durango, but a good way to kill some time if you have an hour or so.
