Description: Long time locals, Todd, Lisa and Grant Gibson have been part of the Durango community for 22 years. As Bayfield residents, Todd spent many years as a volunteer firefighter, including fighting the Missionary Ridge fires. Lisa's passion for entertaining led to the family's purchase of Farquarhts in 2008. Starting as Derailed Saloon and then transitioning over the last 7 years into a warm & welcoming Speak Easy style venue, that has become the "The Pour House". Lisa and Todd have worked whole heartedly to maintain a clean, safe, friendly, fun and affordable atmosphere in a warm and welcoming environment, which creates not just a night out on the town but a true Durango experience. Lisa knows and states that "she is only as good as her people" which is evident by her appreciation of her staff and customers. She embraces all that it takes to have a place where anyone can go, alone or with a group, and feel that they belong. The Pour House caters to all your needs. Projection screens and a sound system make this spot an ideal location for fundraising and other professional events. Scratch-made food prepared daily using locally grown, seasonal ingredients, craft martinis and cocktails, 14 draft beers and an affordable wine list only adds to the versatility of this bar. A grand mahogany bar from 1890s Silverton, a wood burning fireplace, open-air windows, 6 large HD TVs and 3 big screens creates the perfect environment to enjoy our large variety of appetizers and shared plates. Local and traveling musicians and a dueling piano bar only add to the Speak Easy feel of this local bar & restaurant that you can call your own. Come on in to experience this one of a kind place in the heart of Durango. Don't miss our dueling piano events on select Friday & Saturday nights! Music starts at 8:30pm.

“Really a 2.5”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed June 24, 2013

We were spending the night in Durango as part of an 8 day van trip thru CO. Liked the vibe of the town MUCH.
Started the evening at the Durango Arts Center for a reception and announcement of art show winners. Nice eats too.
Then we stopped at the Gallery next to this joint to enjoy Steve McCurry's photographs. he is a master.......and the red wine was pretty good.....and free.
Derailed Pour House was next door and we figured that Fri. night special of burgers @$6 should be good. Guess we were thinking of the ChopHouse in Boulder. Our waiter said the wait was only 18 min........I asked.....it felt longer.....and the burgers did NOT come med rare as ordered...they were more done and tasteless. We had a stuffed burger too @8.....cheddar and bacon. Don't waste your calories or bucks.
From past posts, it sounds like the place has been revamped. WELL......the seating is SO poor...people wanted to come in for HH......but left. Don't know who the designer was.....but i can tell you Derailed is definitely losing business.
perhaps other items on the menu are worthy.......our burgers were not.

“New name...new face...new menu...all still equals a great time”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed June 24, 2013

Love the new front window seating...beautiful setting for a beautiful evening. Their new menu includes pulled pork in a variety of BBQ flavors - definitely a good addition. Wonderful service, but they could use a few more waitstaff to move things along quicker. Loved the new atmosphere!

“Now the Pour House...Not great late...on a Tuesday”
2 of 5 bubbles Reviewed May 21, 2013

Ok, I know. It's a Tuesday. My only real complaint is that their hours are listed as 0:00? - Late. For me, 9pm is not late. When we got in we asked for menus but the kitchen was already closed. :( Ok, a drink then....$8 Dirty Birdie, which is a Grey Goose dirty. The serving was large but it tasted a little funny, almost sweet. I did get a tummy ache, but maybe it was because I was hungry!

On the plus side, the atmosphere was pretty cool and the bartender was very sweet and personable. Thanks, Bartender. The menu looked great, I wish I could've tried something.

Onward to DSP (Diorios) for a giant slice and a beer, $8.50....at 9:55pm. :)
