My husband and I took a short overnight trip to Durango and heard about Honeyville in the little area guide in our hotel room. When we found out that it was out of town a little ways we debated over whether we should go or keep up with seeing other sights with what little time we had left. We are both really glad we decided to go! It was neat to see all of the products that could be made with honey and we tasted some of the honey wine that they sell. The Raspberry and Apricot honey wines are particularly excellent! An added bonus was getting to see the bees they keep (safely contained) inside the store. They also had a window where you could see their production line bottling what looked like the drink mixes they sell. It was worth a little extra drive and our time going out there.
