As most KOAs, clean, good customer service, and organized. I didn't like the no smoking policy. Not sure if this was because of the fire ban due to the northern Durango fire. Actually, my sister who was staying there mentioned the policy but never confirmed it. Enjoyed the nightly "duck" races for the kiddos. The water canals around the site made it nice. Walking the dogs was trouble free, nice showers, and playground for the kids.

Very glad you enjoyed your stay. We don't allow smoking in cabins or bathrooms and state law prohibits smoking within 25 feet from any building. Hope you come back real soon.

Our overall experience was pretty good. The cabin was amazing and felt brand new. The only complaint was we had to provide our own linens and towels. It's more of an inconvenience rather than a complaint. The grounds are well kept and everything was good for the most part. The only complaints we had was the website embellishes on some of the highlights of the KOA. The fresh pizza that could be delivered directly to your cabin did not exist. This was not a good thing for my wife who was watching 6 kids while the rest of us were white water rafting. I feel we should have been aware of that detail when we checked in. The community room is very small and doesn't have much to offer. It's just a room with a TV, a pool table, and a few puzzles. The breakfast was way over priced and we ended up going into town because it was cheaper. Overall, the people working there were very nice and the facilities were very clean. The place just didn't live up to their website.

We're glad you enjoyed your stay. We do have fresh pizza every day and we do deliver. However we were a bit late getting started with the pizza this year. We apologize. Usually we start on June 1st. So next year it will be easier for your wife! We hope to see you again.

Worst camping experience I've ever had and I spent 375$ for it. Staff is rude to anyone who isn't over 50 and white,no privacy since each campsite is often less than one foot from each other and the fire ring advertised on their site is illegal to use, which nobody tells you until after you've checked in and paid for everything.

This isn't camping. Do yourself and your vacation a favor and go literally anywhere else. Don't waste you're money here.

You arrived very shortly after a fire ban was put in place by the fire department. It's not illegal to use our fire rings when there is no fire ban and we do enforce the bans for everyone's safety. Very sorry you were unhappy. Hope you find better expriences.

Ladies at registration area very helpful. One drove ahead of us in a small golf cart and then helped my husband back into our full hook up site. Good selection of types of sites. A bit of a drive from town, off the freeway, easy to find.

We spent several nights here while in the Durango area. This KOA was exceptional. Very nice sites with full hookups. Very nice showers and restrooms and a really nice laundry facility. They also serve pies and ice cream in the evenings. The staff was very accommodating and friendly. They also had very nice cabins on site as well. Daily rates were reasonable for the area. We will definitely stay here again. It’s about a 10 minute drive into downtown Durango.
