“Exactly what we needed!”
Reviewed September 16, 2011

We always look for an Irish bar when we travel and this one worked for us. My husband had the delicious pot roast and I had the spinach salad with salmon. It was an early dinner so wasn't too crowded and we had beer at happy hour prices. Our server (she had dimples and dark hair) was friendly and kept the beer coming. Inexpensive but delish dinner.....we will return.

“Pleasent Pub With Relaxed Atmosphere”
Reviewed July 24, 2011

We dropped in here mostly because I was very thirsty for some beer. The place has what you'd expect on tap as well as some innovative combinations beyond the usual black and tan mix.

There was something so friendly and relaxed about the place that we decided to stay for dinner. We're glad we did. Nothing fancy, but also what we got was good, solid and a bargain compared to the usual high cost of everything in this college / ski / tourist town. My wife had the fish and chips she pronounced as good as any she'd had outside of being eaten from a newspaper funnel (?). No, I didn't get that.

Together we sampled perhaps five of the different brews finding each one refreshing and pleasant. During our time there, which started perhaps 1900h, some college students showed up. Although it's been more than a few years since we graduated college, we enjoyed the company because clearly they were there for a nice evening instead of the binge sort of night out some places seem to foment.

We will definitely be visiting this place again when we return to Durango.

“Great food and bar”
Reviewed July 20, 2011

The restaurant was busy and the hostess took our name but also suggested we check downstairs to see if there was a table in the downstairs bar. Instead of eating in the upper area, we sat at a comfortable couch around a great cocktail table and ordered there. The hostess did come down to check on us to make sure we were comfortable and wanted to stay there. The bartender welcomed us there for dinner. We ate and watched the all star game. It was perfect seating for us. We ordered Shepherd’s Pie, brat and mashed pots, chicken pot pie and enjoyed drinks from our attentive and friendly bartender. We really enjoyed our dinner and evening here.

“Couldn't Get Served”
Reviewed July 14, 2011

We had just picked up our tickets for the train and thought we'd pop in for a quick bite of dinner and some beer. We walked in and had no trouble finding an empty table. There were plenty of servers, but they seemed mostly involved in posting specials, rearranging the menu boards, etc. Noone greeted us, noticed us, brought menus, or served us in any way. After at least 5 minutes, we just left. So, unfortunately, we can't review the food, but the service was terrible!
