“Strip Mall Surprise”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 15, 2013

We stopped in for breakfast. They made us fell right at home. Our meals were great. Good eggs! They know how to cook diner style. Prices were more than reasonable, and coffee was good. Portions were large. Service was outstanding. Go stop in and give them your business and not go to the trendy, expensive silly places in town.

“Huge Breakfast and Lunch Menu”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 15, 2013

Oustanding selection, food and service. The restaurant is small, and a little bit tricky to find. It is in a strip mall, but the diner decor is very attractive. We arrived for lunch and there were a ton of sandwich options (good burgers, chicken sandwiches, and vegetarinan options as well). Kids were satisfied. Worth the drive/walk from the main street.

“Tiny diner.”

Shared BLT and fries. Tiny place. In shopping strip on 550. Large portions of food. Everyone seemed happy with their selection.

“Come with an empty stomach”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 9, 2013

I just HAD to get to this place since it was recommended by not only Trip Advisor, but every person we interacted with while in Durango.

Just like the other places, it is so tiny and that is why there is so much of a wait! But, they were hustling and bustling and we got in fairly quickly.

The food was very good and there was a lot of it. Be prepared for large plates. Even still, I had to get the Cinnamon Roll.. it is definitely large enough for 4 people to share and so yummy!

The ambiance is pretty cool. Lots of Snowdown posters and a train that runs the ceiling.

Not to miss!

“Great pancakes!”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 8, 2013

I loved the local feel of this place. Everyone was really friendly and outgoing (even the other customers) and made me feel at home. I ordered an egg white veggie omelet with a peanut butter chip pancake on the side. The omelet was great - loaded with vegetables but could have used a little more cheese. The hash browns were crispy and flavorful and the whole wheat toast was good (being covered in butter probably helped), but the star of the show was my pancake. It was incredibly fluffy and huge, taking up the entire plate. My husband ordered an omelet along with their french toast. Unfortunately their french toast resembles more of a funnel cake than french toast as they deep fry it. My husband definitely had food envy with my pancake. Next time we are in Durango for breakfast we will stop here for their pancakes again!
