Description: We specialize in community. We are not a casual dining restaurant "concept", we are a small, no wait, "micro" town gathering place. We take pride in our wares both in the beer and food dept., and strive to make you comfortable whether you're local, or just visiting. We specialize in hand thrown, wood fired pizzas and calzones, locally sourced organic salads, and delicious hot sandwiches. We also produce nearly 800 kegs of beer a year right on premise, and have numerous varieties of handcrafted beer on tap at all times as well as several rotating seasonal ales, lagers, stouts. If you're looking for something like Chilis or Applebee's, I guarantee you will be disappointed, if you're ready to get to know Dolores, drink some of Colorado's finest handcrafted beer, and perhaps meet some new friends then you're in for a great time! If you are a beer lover this is the place for you. They have several home brew variety's of Germany's hefe weisen that rival's Germany's ages old brews. The food is pizza, pizza, and a little bit of pizza. the atmosphere is cheerful and laid back.

This is a laid back, funky, local place that reminded me of the bar in the American TV sitcom Cheers. Everyone seemed to know each other and they were just plain happy to be sharing a meal and good cheer. As other reviewers have probably mentioned this restaurant/bar has an arrangement where you order from the bar and then wait and wait... for your food to be brought to your table. They have trivial pursuit cards on the table to help pass the time and there are TV's on to entertain, but I since I wasn't in any hurry, I just enjoyed the small town atmosphere of the place. I ordered the spinach salad and it was fresh and a good sized portion, but nothing extraordinary. I can't comment on the beer either, as I had a glass of Cab. I think what makes this place special and unique is the fact that it doesn't pretend to be anything other than what it is. A very casual, friendly, small town eatery where you can hang out, visit, have a drink and grab a bite.

“Just the kind of local place we look for.”

Really good gourmet pizzas and surprisingly excellent salads. Didn't try the beer. Folks running the place were friendly. Very casual as you order at the bar. We went twice!

This is one of the best microbreweries in the southwest. Beer is exellent, and has a few seasonals. Food choice is simple; pizza, calzones and salads. Angie's deserts are to die for- worth the extra calories. One thing- if your from back east or SoCal, there is no "kissing of rears" for service! All good things take time and it is VERY eclectic and laid back place. Enjoy life type of place!

“Apparently the most popular spot in town”
Reviewed August 30, 2012

After some afternoon tubing on the Dolores River, we came here for dinner & drinks. It was very busy, but we got seats at the bar immediately. There's a large wood-fired oven by the bar where they made some very tasty pizzas. We were warned about a possible 45-minute wait. May have been 30 minutes or so, and it was worth the wait. Delicious!
