“I've been to better tapas”

Portions are very small for the money. Also the temperature of the dishes were wrong ex tomatoes on crostini were just to cold, spaghetti squash lacked flavor. Wouldn't go there again when visiting.

“Great tapas variety”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed March 14, 2013 via mobile

I went with a group of over 20 people and we tried practically every dish. Each of them were mazing. The portion sizes are relatively small for the price though. Very quiet and intimate location too. Overall good tapas restaurant.

“Disappointing and Overpriced”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed February 10, 2013

Having eaten at many tapas restaurants in the UK and mainland Europe, including Spain, this restaurant is certainly lacking in authenticity. Portion size is very small, and very expensive. Even during the "happy hour" the amount of food on the plates is extremely tiny. The restaurant decor is very modern but far too dark. So much that we needed to use our phones to put a bit of light onto the menu. The service was mediocre.

“Romantic Atmosphere; Delicious Taps”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 31, 2013

Perfect place for happy hour with a friend or for a romantic date. Happy hour is Monday-Friday 4:30pm-6:30pm and includes a great selection of drinks and food for $3-4. The tapas-style plates are perfect for sharing and trying a bunch of different things.

Atmosphere:
Just small enough to be cozy, but big enough to be able to find a place to sit. Beautiful, dim lighting and a lot of dark wood and red tones. The bar area is great for a more lively, friendly atmosphere and chatting with the bartenders, or there are tall booths for more private seating.

Drinks:
The sangria is definitely one of the best I've ever had. You can get a glass of it for $4 during happy hour, or a whole carafe for $12 (totally worth it). House red and white wines, as well as a selection of cocktails, are also $4 during happy hour. Otherwise, there is generally a great selection of liquor and wine—and bartenders who know how to make a good cocktail.
RECOMMENDED: RED SANGRIA CARAFE ($12 during happy hour)

Food:
Like I said, most of the food is tapas (appetizers), which means you can get a bunch of different things to share. One of the things I was impressed by (as a carnivore who basically bathes in animal blood and unfortunately often finds herself with herbivores) is the amount of delicious vegetarian options.

Service:
My friend and I sat at the bar and chatted with the bartenders the whole time. They were very friendly, knew exactly what to recommend, and made delicious drinks. It's also never a long wait for the food.

“Unique Place”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 10, 2013

I enjoyed this restaurant. The atmosphere was good, but the lighting was a bit too dark for me. Our server was very good and was very attentive. She explained the restaurant and answered questions well. The food was good, however I felt the portions were rather small. At first, the prices seemed decent in comparison to the food that was available, but after seeing the portions, I felt one or two more of each item could be added to the plate. This was not the same for all the dishes though. My boyfriend ordered the Filete con Cabrales and the portion was good on that. We also ordered the Dolces Picantes and four small peppers came on a plate that was too big for the appetizer. I would go back again, but would probably not order anything I did before, with the exception of the Filete con Cabrales.
