We booked the Ritz-Carlton for a restful three-night stay, but we unfortunately found ourselves on the same floor as a group of rude, loud customers who started their party every night at 2 A.M. The first night, I called to complain and the staff asked the party to be quiet. However, the staff did not let us know that the partiers had booked the next night, too, and the same group awakened everyone again the following night, too. If the service at the Ritz were really as good as they claim, they should have checked to see that the problem customers were staying an additional night and should have offered to move us to another floor. In addition, nicer hotels often have a second door before entering the sleeping area to block noise from the hall. Maybe the Ritz should do an upgrade.
The other disappointment was the food. The food at Elway's restaurant was not so good as the food at the Ritz normally is.
On the plus side, the room was very clean. and the business center was fully equipped with computers for 25 cents per minute and a color laser printer for $1 per page. The staff was very friendly and the valets were alacritous.More
