I was traveling over the Fourth of July for vacation. Hotel staff was courteous and accommodating. I had a few very minor issues with the room, which they did correct or offer to correct. No fridge in room. They offered to bring one, but I declined as it wasn't a big deal. More

Was at this location for a week. Short story of a long version. Was placed in 3 rooms within 24 hours. Hotel smells horrible and the restaurant was not open. Was not informed of this at check in. You had to order food from a sports bar or cafe. In addition the hotel charged for the mini fridge. Everyday there were large black trash bags in the hallway and left over dining trays. It was clear that the hotel was going through much needed renovations. Some things I can get past but at the business rate you would expect more from a Hilton brand estsblishment.

This Double Tree had an Avis car rental with exceptional rates. I stayed the night when I returned the car because they had a shuttle to the rail that went to DIA. Everything ran like clockwork. The surroundings were nicer than I usually get, but the efficiency was 110%. You do get what you pay for.

There is a large train track area nearby, that woke me up several times while sleeping . We traveled on a Red Eye flight and needed really needed some sleep, the train did not help.
Room was nice, staff, friendly and cookies , delicious.
We came as a family to attend a sporting event ( field lacrosse tournament). There were about 15 (guess) staying there, along with numerous team for a baseball tournament and also a football tournament. We felt that this facility catered very well to sports teams. We didn't have any problems while staying there. All staff members were friendly and always greeted you, throughout the facility. The complimentary cookies at the front counter were delicious.
I would not eat at the restaurant again. When I was making my reservations I needed a 2nd room for two adults and one infant. I told reservations what I needed and they said they could nt put 3 people in a room. I kept trying to explain that one was a baby they they could not understand. I finally called the front desk of the hotel and the girl on duty was able to help
