The hotel was awful. The room smelled like smoke but was a non-smoking room. The carpet smelled. The elevator smelled like vomit. Bathroom looked like a 4 year old painted it. Horrible experience. More

Scott at the front desk is a rockstar. He's super personable and nice. The room was nice enough for the affordable price and the location can't be beat. The hotel is within walking distance from several venues and restaurants we frequent when we stay here.

Heard mixed reviews about this hotel. Gave it a chance.
Checked in with no problem, pretty friendly staff members and cheap $5 uber to Coors Field.
However, the whole hotel needs remodeled.
The only reason I reviewed it 2 stars is because we upgraded to a king suite and the room was spacious, pretty nice/ newly repainted- I imagine it's the nicest room at the hotel. The hotel looks like it is stuck in the early 90s... if that's their theme, that's fine, but just fix everything. Our phone was broken, and when we asked for more towels, I waited 15 minutes in the shower ( which was also hard to use) for a towel and it never came, so I had to use dry wash cloths instead.
Breakfast was included, but everything just gives you a dirty feel because you can tell everything is so old.

Negatives included: Shower water is inconsistent making it uncomfortable to properly bathe. The room was in need of maintenance. Bathtub didn’t function and the wall were a little banged up and there was an area in the room where the carpet was missing. The card reader didn’t work well either, very annoying. Finally, there wasn’t a safe to secure personal items.
Positives included: Shuttles to anywhere within a 3 mile radius. Breakfast with fresh juices, milk, coffee, tea, waffles, toast, boiled eggs, donuts, oatmeal, cereal, and fruit. Nice staff with good intel about the area and attractions. In an area where food is within walking distance. Bars too. Clean room and bathroom. All major channels to watch on room TV.
Our goal was to be as close to the civic center park as possible for an early morning race so in that way it served our purpose. There was really nothing wrong with the place-- clean, comfortable beds, etc. The area is slightly sketchy but not bad. The place is slightly old, has some unpleasant smells here and there, and has nothing in the way of 'luxury' but did pretty well with what it had. Note that parking costs $5 per day unless you're some kind of rewards member.
