Okay so we just got here. We've looked around and although it isn't spotless it's not dirty. It's a little ramshackle but there's no dirt.

The two reception staff were both friendly and engaging. The cleaners in the hallway greeted us with smiles and a hello.

The room is huge, the bed is huge and the bathroom is acceptable. There is a comfy armchair and the desk is exactly what if says it is, a desk.

Will check out some more of the hotel later but right now I'm happy with the room and the hotel. Maybe I'm just not as big a snob as some......

The hotel itself was very old and in need of renovations. The staff, however, were very outgoing and helpful. The room itself was average, but did have a lot of hair on the bedspread. Overall, you get what you pay for.
