Warwick Denver Hotel

We just returned from 4-nights at the Warwick with a pretty good price on Hotwire. Unlike many places we were not made to feel unwanted due to the bargain and found everyone helpful and charming. Our room, 1107, was large, clean and upscale with a great view from the balcony.

My only problem (which I knew about before the reservation) was the uphill walk from the 16th street mall. Only in the past year advanced old age and corpulance have made this a little trying but not so much that I would not return in a flash. A younger, say 69, person would not even notice it. I believe the Warwick is a little underrated simply because regular visitors to Denver will probably bot notice it in its quiet location.

Our room was spacious with two balconies, a separate shower room, and a nice lounging area. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The young man who drove the coutesy vehicle made an extra run, just after 10 pm, to pick us up after our concert, and he gave us great travel directions.
The restaurant was ery nice with outdoor seating as well.
Use a navigator to locate - quite a few one-way streets.

Room Tip: We had a suite, so it was truly spacious. No city noise on 11th floor.

Really enjoyed our 4 night stay at The Warwick Denver. Great room with big balcony (a real treat for a relaxing drink after a day's shopping / sightseeing). Thanks to Matthew and others on reception and to Andrew who drove us to the Amtrak station in the hotel car. Rudolfs restaurant was really good with a lovely outside eating area; also great bar food and a nice relaxed happy hour. All in all a really good experience. Brilliant location in downtown Denver, walking distance of 16th Street Mall but in nice quiet location. Definitely recommend The Warwick in Denver.

Classic King Room at Warwick was spacious. We really enjoyed outside balcony. The shower pull in #1102 needs some work!! We could not get it to pull up to turn on shower. Room was fine, but needs a little updating. Toliet also ran every flush. This was our second time to stay there. We rated our first visit a five star. This one was a three plus. Wish they had a rewards program for loyal customers, since we were returning customers. I believe they should KNOW when someone is coming back. Think it would build, enhance customer loyalty.

Room Tip: Classic King Room is fine, but if you can upgrade to a Colorado Suite, you would enjoy it more.

Thank you for your feedback. We are pleased you enjoyed your stay and took advantage of the oversized balconies. I apologize that you had a challenge with the some of the bathroom fixtures. Regarding our regular guests, our standard is to always recognize our regular guests and indeed to build a relationship geared towards a tailored service. I really apologize for not fully meeting your expectation. I would love to hear from you in person so that we can apologize personally and learn a little bit more about your stay. I really enjoyed this hotel. From the moment I arrived until the moment I left, I found the staff friendly and helpful. I rooms were great and included both a safe and a refrigerator. I loved how big the rooms are, and the balcony is a nice added touch. I did use the exercise room which was stocked with really good equipment. The exercise room also has a fruit-infused water free to all guests...honestly, it shouldn't be missed! If I have any negative at all it would be that the Internet wasn't free. Why isn't that just an amenity Kin to soup and towels? Because, it is! Also, please note that parking costs $26 per day. While I have read other reviews that say you can park on the street, I didn't see any close. All in all, I would recommend.

Very comfortable beds. Clean. Nice large balcony. Helpful, pleasant staff. Good breakfast. Convenient to downtown Denver. Walls not very sound proof, but that was not a major problem for us on this trip.

Room Tip: Ask for an end room to minimize noise from other rooms.

The room we stayed in was fantastic- and we got a free upgrade. The trouble was when we tried to book a ride to the airport. We were told that 'everything was taken care of'. We saw an extra charge on our bill and assumed it was for the cab. When we went to find our ride the next day no one knew what we were talking about. Everyone seemed confused when we asked.
When we finally got our ride and went to the airport we found out that we had to then also pay the cab there- not sure where the extra charge went! We weren't told that the cabbie expected cash or that we had not already paid. Our 'convenient' trip turned into a headache.
The room was great and the hotel is beautiful but they weren't very competent!

Thank you very much for your feedback. We are sorry to learn that you had difficulties with our transportation services. I did investigate and believe that there was perhaps a misunderstanding. The hotel does not charge the guest for cab / taxi fares so apologize if there was confusion. If the issue has not been resolved to your satisfaction please feel free to reach out to me directly. We do hope to have the opportunity to serve you again in the near future.
