The Warwick is a very comfortable, older hotel that's completely re-done on the inside. It's conveniently located near the Colorado State Capitol and a short walk to the 16th street mall. Parking is difficult so plan to use the valet parking. The restaurant was excellent. The staff were outstanding, always cheerful and friendly, and learned our name by the second day, addressed us by name when picking up or returning our car to the valet. A very nice, comfortable week long stay.

We stayed overnight to enjoy an evening in downtown Denver. The room was dated. The lobby was nice. Staff was very friendly and helpful. The pool and workout area were decent. We would consider staying here again.

This is my favorite hotel in Denver. I love the luxury, the large rooms and the balcony. The restaurant, Randolph's is also excellent. The location is fairly close to downtown, a 5 minute drive but mainly it is just a beautiful and comfortable place. I didn't give the hotel 5 stars because it is now in need of an update ie.,needs carpets, new beds.... Also It is annoying that they have no rewards program. I have stayed at this hotel at least 15 nights during the past year and they have no idea, no record, no incentives. Each time they ask if this is my first stay. The bell hops are inconsistent too but in-spite of these annoyances, I love the place.

Dear servins,

Thank you for your comments and we are glad to hear that we are your favorite hotel in Denver. I am concerned that our Front Desk does not recognize you after so many stays and will discuss this with the appropriate staff member.
We do appreciate your continued patronage of the hotel and are looking forward to seeing you again soon.

I choose this hotel because of its location in the Denver area.
At one time, the Warwick Hotel was probably a pristine hotel in Denver; however, it is in need of a major cleanup and renovation.

Pros:
The hotel does have a large rooms. In fact, they are double the size that you see in most hotels todays.
Each room has a balcony. There are chairs provided on the balcony and I had a great view.
There is a pool on the roof deck of the hotel. I understand that it is the only hotel in Denver with such a pool. It is heated and protected by a wall of glass that helps keep the breeze down.

Cons:
The hotel is in need of a good renovation. The floor that I stayed on needed a simple cleaning. The carpet had multiple staines on it. The hallway was filthy and the carpet in the room was not any better.
While it was nice to have a balcony in the room, the glass door leading to the balcony had not been updated since it was installed. This was not well insulated and required that the heater be on the entire visit to maximum heat. An update here would help improve the hotel and be energy efficient.
The hotel does offer valet parking; however, it is overpriced for the area. Parking runs approximately $26.00. Parking in a lot adjacent to the hotel in a self park garage is a quarter of the price. In addition, I found multiple lots in the area that were considerably cheaper.

I believe that the hotel was once grand in its day. If the property management company is willing to invest in the property, this hotel can once have the ratings it did back in the day.

Room Tip: Ask for an upper level - you will get a great view of the downtown skyline

We spent Dec 30 & 31 2012 at the Warwick Denver. The staff was friendly, knowledgeable, and courteous. Our room was large, probably 350+ sq ft, with a very comfortable king-size pillowtop bed, real furniture, great bathroom with granite countertop & awesome water pressure from the massage shower head, well stocked mini-bar (reasonably priced, too!), a balcony, & my personal favorite, the rooftop pool. It was 15 degrees on NYE in Denver. We went swimming in the 85 degree pool. Excellent!
The uptown location is pretty quiet, but it's close to 16th St Mall & Capitol Hill.
We got a great deal, too.
Very pleased, over all.
