I travel to Denver a few times each year on business and have typically stayed downtown at the Westin, Hyatt Regency or Sheraton. This time the rates were way up at those hotel and I stayed here for the price they offered. First off, whatever they do to train their front desk staff....they should be given big kudos. They were always friendly, helpful and were great at making suggestions. While the hotel has had a makeover, don't expect luxury or fine finishes. It is modest in the accommodations. The rooms, hallway and lobby are newer and traditional. This hotel was built sometime in the late sixties so the ceilings are low (I'm 6'3), and the sink felt like it was made for children I had to bend so low. But overall, this is a great value. Quiet, comfortable and just around the corner from the newer Uptown restaurants. I was able to walk to the convention center in 20 min. Plus, there is good parking (almost all metered or 2 hour) around the neighborhood which seems to be the new happening area. I probably won't stay here next time, but its due to my own personal preference in accommodations. The reviews about hot water are also true..you need to let it run a good 5 minutes before you get in the shower. Also, the gym on the 15th floor is quite good.

Room Tip: Face downtown or the front of the hotel. There is construction on new condos going on just a block...

My stay was only for one night: I wish I'd more time at my disposal. Staff were smiling and helpful without being obtrusive; the setting, including amenities like a roof-top pool, were equal to a five stars' hotel. Of course, Colorado is one of the most beautiful states, (but on my return, the accommodations elsewhere were not comparable.)

Service was excellent. Coureous Valet, Doormen and Front Desk. Only stayed one night but felt at home there. Highly recommend to anyone visiting Denver. Our rooms were extemely clean and ordering food late night was pretty easy. Location also made getting in and around Denver easy.

King bed room on 9th floor, terrific view of sunrise. Room very spacious, clean, bed super comfy. Rooftop pool with great views of Denver was a delight. Only downer - and a big one - was a $10 per day charge for internet access. In this day and age, and in a hotel big on conference guests, it should really just be one of the given amenities. Marred the stay a bit. Still...we'd highly recommend Warwick Denver for comfort and professionalism, and access on foot to the 16th st mall.

My husband and I and two friends stayed at the Warwick Hotel in downtown Denver and were truly happy with our choice. We booked a one bedroom suite with a balcony while our friends booked a suite room. Our room was large with sofa, two chairs and plenty of space for six people to enjoy, Our bedroom was spacious and the bed was incredioubly comfortable. We had a large closet off of the livingroom which easliy fit all of our clothes and suitecases. (Iron and board) are also in this room, very convienent. As most reviews read it is an older hotel but it is in top shape and decorated very elegantly. Having never been to Denver before this location was perfect, you are walking distance to the 16th street mall or a 5 minute walk to 17th street which has plenty of bars and restaurants. The staff at the hotel was very friendly and always available to give us advise or directions. We would happily stay at this hotel again.

Room Tip: For about $110 more upgrade from a suite to a 1 bedroom, that was our cost for 4 nights.
