Overall our stay at the Magnolia Hotel Denver was really good. The hotel is beautifully decorated and staff is extremely polite. We stayed on the 12th floor to try and avoid the street noise as much as possible. (The windows are single pane since it is an older building, so you can still hear a little street noise). The elevators were really efficient, we never waited more than a minute or so.
The perks were a very nice touch. Complimentary drinks in the evening, warm cookies and cold milk at night and a tasty full breakfast in the morning.
The room was very clean and the bed was comfy. The soaking tub is a nice touch, but its not very long, if you're taller than 5' 6" you can't extend your legs out fully. The bathroom also comes equipped with a hair dryer and magnifying makeup mirror.
If you live in Colorado, you can also take the light rail to the hotel - there is a stop at 16th and Stout that we used. It's much cheaper than paying for parking.
