The staff was great and hotel was excellent. The room was kept nice and cool, but it was easy to adjust the temperature. Clean, large bathroom with a great shower/tub. All the toiletries you need. I missed the drinks and cookie hours, unfortunately, but they sounded wonderful. The valet service was fast and friendly. Be sure to take advantage of the free shuttle around downtown.

My brother and sister-in-law had their wedding there and everything for that was excellent as well--food, service, cleanliness. It was a gorgeous space!

Would recommend for business or for leisure for sure!

I travel to Denver frequently on business. I have a choice of several downtown hotels in which to stay. I ALWAYS choose the Magnolia. It is classic old hotel with thick walls which makes it very quiet. The evening reception is great, but the milk and cookies at bedtime are simply the best. Everyone is very, very friendly and they go out of their way to make you feel welcome and happy. It is conveniently located near 16th street and public transportation. It is in easy walking distance almost everything located downtown. Great place to stay.

Room Tip: All rooms and very nice. I always let the front desk choose the room.

We have stayed in Denver several times, and wanted try some place 'New' to us. Sooo... glad we did. We checked in with time to hit the Wine and Beer Reception, a wonderful perk for staying at the Magnolia. The desk staff welcomed us and asked if it was a special occasion, that brought us to stay there. After hitting the town for dinner and a stroll through Larimer Square, and the 16th. St. Mall in the rain, we returned for Milk and Cookies in the Lounge. On returning to our room we were wonderfully surprised with a bottle of Champagne on ice, and a hand written note to have a Happy Anniversary and to enjoy our stay. Breakfast the next morning was terrific, Our overall experience was exceptional, we were made to feel special. Will deffinitely recommend the Magnolia!!

First time to Denver so I was surprised at the distance between the airport and getting downtown. Maybe it was the traffic. Once I arrived at the hotel, it was definitely worth the drive. The hotel is a beautiful historic building. I'm wild about architecture so I was fascinated. My room was very spacious. It could easily be a one bedroom apartment. Very clean and I really enjoyed the Magnolia bath products. I had dinner in my room as I was studying for a test the next day. Great food! Really enjoyed the Starbucks and the sandwich shop that's attached to the hotel. There's also a great little restaurant in the hotel with a 50s diner feel. I will be coming back to Denver in 6 months and I will definitely be staying at the Magnolia.

Stayed for three nights while in Denver for business.

Good:
- Location is excellent - 1 minute from 16th Street Mall and many restaurants and stores
- Discount for hotel guests at the on-site Starbucks
- Milk & cookies at bed time
- Well equipped exercise room - 3 ellipticals, 2 treadmills, 2 bikes, free weights, benches & multi-exercise cable machine
- Spacious comfortable rooms
- All staff were very friendly and accommodating

Could be improved:
- Internet access was annoying - having to re-authenticate every twelve hours when you have more than one device is a pain
- The exercise room should have rubber tiles/mats across all of the free weights area to muffle the sound of weights being put down
- It would be ideal if they could add another healthy hot option to the breakfast menu (e.g. egg white scrambled eggs or omelettes)
- While I appreciated the post-work "happy hour" in the lounge, the house Cabernet is terrible. The merlot is a bit better...

Room Tip: The exercise room, vending machines & ice machines are all on the first floor...

Stayed 4 nights in one of the king suites over 4th of July weekend. About the worst thing I can say about it is that the in-room coffee wasnt very good. Luckily there is a Starbucks next door that delivers to your room for free! Great staff, great price, great location. Room was quiet (and we were only on the 2nd floor) and clean with a separate living room and full kitchen, bathroom was somewhat small, but it had a nice sized tub. The complimentary breakfast was simple (eggs, sausage, biscuits and gravy, cereal) but better than you get in most hotels and the happy hour in the lounge was a nice touch. The adjacent bar, Harry's, was a daily stop as well - great drinks and great service. No pool but there is a very nice gym with locker rooms. Would stay here again.

A half block off the 16th Street Mall, in a 1902 bank building, the Magnolia is full of traditional charm and service. Before dinner: cocktail hour. After dinner: a milk and cookie break in the downstairs lounge. The rooms are luxurious. The beds as comfortable as you will find anywhere.

Opt for valet parking: it's only $3/day less than the self-pay adjacent parking garage, which is a pain in the neck to get into and out of.

Room Tip: Ask for a room facing out. Otherwise you're facing into an inner courtyard.
