“Great location”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 17, 2013

The Magnolia is located just a half block from the 16th Street Mall. This provides you with easy access to everything. The staff was outstanding from the moment we arrived. Thanks for making our 15 year anniversary so great!

We arrived very late on a Thursday. I had called on Monday to let them know we would not be arriving until 1:30 am. Thankful we still had a room even though hotels often give away rooms that late at night even if prepaid. We had reserved a King Suite, it was huge. Bigger than my first 2 apartments with a full kitchen. It was a tad outdated decor which but clean and comfy. The location could not have been more central to everything downtown. The free mall ride was on the block, the rail was also on the block. The free breakfast in the morning was the best of free breakfasts. Hot food , fresh juices, breads, fruit and waitstaff to pick up plates and clean tables. The afternoon free wine was fun with a great bar tender and a chance to meet other guests. Free cookies and milk in the evenings. The bar was always busy and looked like fun. There is so much to do downtown that we didn't have have enough time to explore.

The dinner at Maggione's was excellent and it was great to bring leftovers back to our room. The decor was very subdued and tastefully updated with stone countertops, sink, modern fixtures and lighting. The bed was comfortable with nice linens and plush towels. The breakfast room and lounge was very nice. It was very quiet and a great location within walking distance of many activities. 16th street is very active on Sat. night so you are near the action. We used the hotel transportation service to get to dinner and later a symphony concert. Everyone was very polite and helpful.

Room Tip: We enjoyed the suite.

Hotel is top notch! Valet parking attendent was very nice, check in was a breeze. Had happy hour drinks and then recommended a good place for supper. Service level was wonderful all during our stay. In room Starbucks is a wonderful perk as well!! Definitely will stay again, hopefully will be pleasure instead of business.

Love this hotel! Any hotel the offers complimentary milk and cookies before bedtime is ok in my book! The room is comfy, but I splurged and upgraded to a suite. It has everything for a nice stay...comp breakfast, happy hour and best of all the milk and cookies!

The Magnolia Hotel is a magnificent hotel located in downtown Denver. It is a half block from a light rail station and a block from the free 16th St. mall corridor. The atmosphere is upscale and I fully enjoyed my still. A large breakfast buffet was included (but may have been because I was there with a group). In our group, I found out 20 of us were allowed to upgrade our room to a suite for no extra charge. That was sweet. The price was not that bad and atmosphere and rooms were that of a Marriott tor other higher class hotel. If I was in Denver again, I would definitely stay here.

Room Tip: My room was extremely quiet. Just make sure you don't get a room next to the elevator.

This hotel had a very friendly and helpful staff. The location was great, just around the corner from all of the restaurants and shopping. A great value, will definitely stay here again. The room was clean and comfortable and Starbucks delivers to your room!
