“Very good location”

The hotel is located at walking distance from the 16th Street Mall ( pedestrian and transit mall in Denver). This hotel also offers free breakfast and free Wifi, and a very helpful front desk staff. Croosing street is the famous Brown hotel with stunning stained glass ceiling.

This was a typical Comfort Inn. The room was small...not tiny...but adequate for 3 adults. It was clean but is a bit dated. But it was right in the heart of town and right near the 16th Street Mall, the Capitol, the free tram up an down the Mall and right across from The Brown Palace. We stayed on the first night of a tour, so we only stayed the one night. Bathroom has a strange sliding glass door instead of a wooden door and there are no towel hooks...that's why I always carry a cheap one in my travel bag. I would recommend if you just need a clean, convenient hotel right in the heart of town, esp if you have no car. People at front desk were very helpful and knowledgeable about the area.

Room Tip: You mihgt want to get a room toward the front overlooking The Brown Palace.

Paid $170/night here in May 2012. Seems to share ownership with Brown Palace across the street which is a 4 or 5-star. Rooms at Comfort Inn are very average (2 double bed). No microwave or fridge. Breakfast was included but everything seemed to be plastic besides all the accessories (eggs, tater tots, waffles). Only one block off of 16th St. Pedestrian Mall was a plus. If you could get Brown Palace room within $50 of Comfort Inn, go for that.

We were going to Denver for business and found most downtown hotels booked or way over per diem. The hotel gave a government rate around $140. Stayed in 1071. Clean. Bed's firmer than we like but since there were two beds, the comforter from the extra bed worked to soften it up. Room service was very good. Of course that was to be expected since it was coming from the Brown Palace Hotel across the street. We'd stay again.

As others have noted it is a little tired but just across the enclosed walkway to the Brown Palace Hotel, nice if you have meeting/business here. Good pricing, clean and sufficient for downtown. Staff was friendly and helpful, good wireless. Bed was as up to date and as comfortable as I have found across all tyes of lodging for the past several years it just isn't fancy.

Our flight arrived at 7:30 am so we were dropped off at the hotel around 8:30am. We were pleasantly surprised to find out we could immediately check into our room and were offered the breakfast that was being served. Room was clean and had a comfortable bed. I live in the country and expect to be bothered by "city noise" at night--that was not the case here--perhaps because we were on the 9th floor? Quiet, restful place to sleep. The hotel serves a nice hot breakfast of eggs, sausage, potatoes, and make your own waffles. There was also boiled eggs, yogurt, cereals, fruit and some muffins. The best thing about this hotel was the location--one block from the 16th street mall which has a free bus that runs the entire length of the Mall. We were able to walk to the Denver Art Museum, the Denver Museum of Modern Art, the Capitol, the Convention Center, many great eating places and Confluence Park.

Close to 16th St Mall and walking distance to convention center. Room was fine, clean, basic amenities, comfortable beds... Could do without the plastic plants. Overall hotel infrastructure was a bit worn down, old elevators, 80's lobby, breakfast area was small and ver crowded.
