We are here for the ABO conference, and i am day after day disappointed by the very bad service at this hotel. It might be big enough for a conference for 800 people, but that is were its good qualities end. Check in was a horrendous wait, and food service for the conference has riddled with silly rules about which food live is open and when. Coffee is almost never available and sodas are non-existent. Algenol sponsored an evening, and it seemed very very expensive for what the hotel provided. shame on you

Dear Paul_Woods_Algenol: We are disappointed to hear you did not enjoy your stay with us or the offerings of the conference. We do apologize for the wait you experienced at check in. We can assure you that typically the process is quite expedient. We appreciate the time you took to share your experience with us and hope you will give us the opportunity to prove that what you experienced is not the norm.

This is a hotel very convenient for conventions in Downtown Denver, CO. The location is very good, centrally located and at a walking distance of several restaurants, stores and the main street in Denver. But the hotel is huge, two towers and a maze of accesses to several meeting rooms on the lower levels. The two towers are separated by a street, it takes some time to understand how to go from one tower to the other if you don't want to to through the streets. There is one swimming pool at one of the towers (not the main one).

Room Tip: I stayed at the swimming pool side, seems to be the best side but it is not nice

Dear Paulo_MSP: We are pleased you enjoyed our special location on the 16th Street Mall. We understand that while our hotel is large, it's really quite a 'gentle giant,’. Please do keep in mind that any of our team members are here to assist you in finding your way easier. We hope to see you again the next time you are in our community.

From the dated wallpaper, in places hanging off the walls to the room cleaning regime which didn't seem to replace items used the Sheraton in Denver is obviously the unloved ugly duckling in the chain and can no longer claim to be a luxury hotel.
Breakfast was basic and although the staff were willing little things like no decent sized spoons for cereal, and no berries to put on the cereal, and no ketchup for the eggs shold have been ready not needed to be asked for.
The pool was fine for laps but noisy as the aircon units all discharged around the pool enclosure - maybe meant to sound like a roaring sea?
Bar had at least a decent local micro brewery beer but service was spotty - ranging from slow to a great waitress who ran across the road to starbucks so we could get a decent cup of coffee.
But luxury it aint! Repeated requests for correct invoice also took some doing so a revamp is needed from the top down

Room Tip: the higher the floor the better - and not over the street entrance

Dear mid1961: A few of our guests, who are not as familiar with the history of our I.M.Pei Tower and it’s famous architect, may feel as you did. The guestrooms were, however, part of a $70M dollar renovation along with the rest of the hotel and being a historic building at times may not seem as apparent. We are disappointed to hear that the service your received during breakfast was not up to standard. Typically, our team members go above and beyond to anticipate the needs of all our guests. We are pleased that you enjoyed one of our local beers at the bar. We hope you will choose to stay with us again the next time your travels bring you to our community.

I went to a convention here Labor Day weekend. The location was great, concierge service was also very good. However, we booked 100+ rooms and internet service was still not free in the rooms, in 2012 when everyone needs internet for just about everything, I felt this was very petty of the Sheraton folks. They know you're going to pay the $9.99 or $14.99 whatever it was per day to be able to do business. Yes, internet was free in the business center just off the lobby but it was a pain to get the username and password from the front desk and have to log back in every 45 minutes.
Pool was nice, small but the footprint of the tower wasn't huge either. No jacuzzi, after walking around the city all day it would have been nice to be able to soak in a jacuzzi either at the pool or the fitness center but oh well. Some of the other women in my group complained about that also.
Overall a nice hotel but I probably would try a different location next time out there just to see how they compare. Sheraton just didn't wow me this time.

Room Tip: There are 2 towers connected by a skyway, to get above the 2nd floor where the skyway is located, yo...

Dear chrisx98: Thank you for taking the time to share your experience with us. We hope your conference was successful. We can assure you that our charge for guestroom Internet is competitive with other hotels in the Denver area. We are pleased you were able to take advantage of the complimentary Internet in the lobby at the Link @ Sheraton experienced with Microsoft. Additionally, we hope you enjoyed relaxing by the pool. We invite you to stay with us again the next time you are in Denver for business or pleasure.

I booked on Hotwire & got a very very good deal, when I booked in the gentleman at the front desk treated me the same as if i paid full rate (which at some hotels isnt the case). We spent 2 nights there, the room was a nice size and well appointed, and very very clean which I appreciated. I cannot find any fault with my stay there.

This hotel is located right on the 16th St. mall and has a terrific location with restaurants and coffee houses close by. Perfect for business, meetings and we can stay. The fitness center is absolutely massive probably 20,000 ft.² and has everything you could possibly want. The rooms are nice and remodeled but are pretty small. There are multiple restaurants right inside the hotel which makes it nice for meetings. I did not like that some of the meeting rooms or below ground level. the parking is very expensive at $30 for valet and $20 for self parking.

The hotel expressed concern about the availability of a room that would not require a lot of walking for me. They were very prompt in my registration and my departure. Outside signage for valet parking would have been nice. HATED the parking arage - too tight for today's vehicles.
