Our son gave us a gift certificate to Fruition for Christmas 2012. We used 337 days later and took him with us. Why did we wait so long?

For starters we had seared tuna and pear salad to share. Both were delicious. We ordered Salmon Creek Farms roasted pork loin, black olive crusted Petrale Sole and pan roasted Columbia River Sturgeon. We all loved our choices and each shared a bite from each other's plate. I would have been happy with either of the other choices.

Restaurants like Fruition are not inexpensive, but when the service, the cozy atmosphere and excellent food combine for a great experience, it's worth it.

It was a frigid evening outside and truthfully, it could have been a bit warmer inside... my wife would agree with Cookindivarox, but it didn't spoil the evening. We look forward to going back.

We had heard of this restaurant and had passed it several times, but we had no idea how good the food was. A friend who had stayed for the weekend took us to dinner and we all enjoyed every dish. Great service. Friendly. One of Denver's best, if not the best.

A fine dining experience worthy of another visit. Warm & beautifully lite the atmosphere was lovely. Quiet attentive service. I like a warm restaurant. When it's cold indoors, I don't tend to enjoy my meals as much or much else for that matter. I say this because when a gal is dolled-up for the night, it typically involves showing more skin, ie: legs and arms and then we get cold. I tend to overdress being from the NY/CT.
We came for our 2 yr anniversary and was such a treat to try a new place. Off the quick running cars of 6th, street parking only. We were seated immediately and wait staff was knowledgable about wines & their breads for the evening were tasty: a traditional french style baguette with a nice crust and a delicious sour dough bread, very much in keeping with the flavors of a San Francisco style loaf. Yum for that alone!!
We enjoyed their Monterey Bay squid for a starter: lightly dusted with lots of flavor. I had the Sturgeon. Fabulous with the risotto!
Well done and a memorable meal tucked in the back corner table.

We made our reservation for a Sunday after the show and we realized we would get out a little early from the show - called the restaurant changed the time to arrive a little earlier - No problem. I have to say the food is absolutely wonderful - so flavorful and creative in every way. Our server was very knowledgeable of the wine list and everything on the menu.
My one observation was the staff - from the minute we walked into the restaurant - it seemed the hostess had an attitude and the staff was not very friendly - seems a little stuffy. But the experience was good as far as the food goes - a little pricy for what you get in quantity. For the four of us with a bottle of wine our dinner and desert the total came to $250.00 with tip - $300.00. (3) of us had their Fried Chicken Cordon Blue and Duck dish that had to be sent back to the kitchen as it was to rare.
Overall, it was good - would not be in a hurry to go back as there are so many great restaurants in Denver.
